摘要： An information reproducing apparatus improved is provided with: an optical pickup (11) for reading record information recorded on an optical disc (100) and outputting a read signal; an error correction circuit (15) for executing an error correction process with respect to the outputted read signal and outputting output data through the error correction process corresponding to the record information; and a buffering memory device (17) for buffering the outputted output data. The apparatus is further provided with a microcomputer (20) for altering the error correction process in the error correction circuit depending on a memory status of the buffering memory device, if in the error correcting device, an error is detected in the read signal or an error ratio of the error becomes greater than a predetermined threshold value.

摘要： A temperature sensor (131) detects a temperature of a spindle motor (121) of a rotary drive unit (120) for rotating a disk-shaped recording medium (1), and a temperature information acquiring unit (134A) acquires the temperatures as temperature information. An eccentricity detector (132) detects a drive voltage level, and an eccentricity information acquiring unit (134B) acquires the drive voltage level as eccentricity information. When a determining unit (134C) determines that the temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature or that the drive voltage level is higher than a predetermined voltage, a servo controller (133) switches a rotation mode from constant liner velocity to constant angular velocity. That enables stable information processing over a long time with a simple strucure for constant linear velocity.

摘要： A disc reproducing apparatus is provided which is adapted to scan information tracks to read information recorded on an information recording medium. This disc reproducing apparatus comprises: determining means capable of determining an actually happened track jump, said determining being effected when a difference between a present reproducing positional information and a reference reproducing positional information is larger than a predetermined value; detecting means for detecting a present track position which is just being reproduced at a present time; and setting means for setting said predetermined value corresponding to the present track position, in accordance with a result of the detecting means.

摘要： Address search method for use in a disk player repeatedly performing a track jump operation for jumping over a plurality of recording tracks at one time. The present method changes to a jump state from a locking state in which a tracking servo system of the disk player is locked so that an information reading light spot of a pickup of the disk player follows a recording track. Subsequently, a present address obtained from read output of the pickup is compared with a target address and the tracking servo system is placed in the locking state. The preceding steps for comparing the addresses are repeated until the target address is exceeded by the present address.

摘要： An information reproducing apparatus is provided with: a clamping device (900) capable of clamping and clamp-releasing a recording medium (100); a rotating device (20) for rotating the recording medium clamped by the clamping device; a reading device (30) disposed opposite to an information record surface of the recording medium for reading information recorded on the information record surface of the recording medium; a driving device (34, 34D, 32) capable of moving the reading device in a radial direction of the recording medium; and a linkage device (24, 83, 85) for linking a clamping or clamp-releasing action by the clamping device with a movement of the reading device by the driving device. The driving device moves the reading device as a first driving voltage is supplied to the driving device upon reading the information recorded on the information record surface, the first driving voltage including such a value that the action of the clamping device is not linked with the movement of the reading device by the linkage device.

摘要： An optical disk playing apparatus which performs at least a focusing servo operation for reading light as a servo operation and irradiates the reading light onto one optical disk, receives reflected light from the optical disk by a pickup to obtains a light receiving signal, moves an irradiated position of the reading light onto the optical disk to cross tracks on the disk; generates a tracking error signal in response to the reading signal during the track crossing; compares the tracking error signal with a threshold value; and determines the type of the optical disk in accordance with the number of pulses in the compared result signal within a predetermined period from start of the track crossing.

摘要： A disk drive device in which emergency unloading at the start of the engine is prevented, a head may have a prolonged life and improved reliability as an HDD is achieved. A disk drive device is driven or the movement of a magnetic head is allowed after an engine start in a vehicle is detected by an engine start detecting part, so that emergency unloading can be prevented at the start of the engine. In order to detect the engine start, voltage values on four power supply lines for a vehicle power supply device are monitored or the outputs of various sensors such as a tachometer, a vibration detection sensor, an engine sound detection sensor, a vehicle speed pulse, a gyro sensor and a parking brake are monitored. In another embodiment, the number of emergency unloading occurrence at the start of the engine is reduced, which allows the head to have a prolonged life, so that the disk drive device has improved reliability as an HDD. The voltage values on two power supply lines, first and second power supply lines for a vehicle power supply device are monitored. The magnetic head is allowed to move when the voltage values on the first and second power supply lines attain a prescribed value after a prescribed time period after the voltage value on the first power supply line attains prescribed value.

摘要： An auger type ice-making machine of the present invention comprises an ice-making cylinder which accommodates an auger rotatably in the interior thereof, an ice compression head which supports the upper end portion of the auger rotatably, and which is disposed in the upper portion of the ice-making cylinder, and a cast-in heater which is attached to the outer peripheral surface of an accommodating portion for the ice compression head of the ice-making cylinder. According to the present invention, the use of a cast-in heater enables heat to be reliably transmitted to the ice compression head, whereby the compressed ice can be melted and ice can be discharged smoothly.

The control device determines whether sound information desired by the user is included in said program information or not and, when it is determined that the sound information is included in the program information, controls the reproducing operation of said reproducing device in accordance with a preset reproducing procedure without waiting for said instruction input from said user.
