    摘要: A video mixing apparatus for mixing a first video signal and a second video signal in accordance with a first key signal and a second key signal.     摘要: A device for coping with a sensor abnormal state in an electronic control system in an internal combustion engine in which a predetermined operation control device is controlled in response to detection signals obtained from various engine sensors. The device includes an engine speed sensor and a temperature sensor. A discriminator determines that the temperature sensor is abnormal when a state, in which engine speed N.sub.E is less than a predetermined value n.sub.A and concurrently temperature T.sub.W is less than a predetermined value T.sub.A -.DELTA..sub.A, continues for a predetermined time tm.sub.DT. The detected temperature value T.sub.W is corrected to a larger value provisionally to decrease the rotational speed N.sub.E of the engine when the abnormal state is indicated.

    摘要: An electrical connecting arrangement is provided for establishing electrical connections of electronic printed-circuit boards detachably mounted in a cabinet of an electronic installation at a front side thereof. For the establishment of electrical connections, at least one connector is used, and a connector support member is attached to a rear side of the cabinet. The connector includes two connector halves to be coupled to each other. One of the connector halves is detachably attached to and supported by the support member, and is joined to an end of an electrical cable. The other connector half is securely attached to and by a rear side of the printed-circuit board. The connector halves are aligned with each other upon mounting the printed-circuit board in the cabinet, to thereby ensure coupling of the connector halves.

    摘要: When the output from an internal combustion engine is reduced using a combination of a throttle valve control device, a fuel cut control device and an ignition retard control device, the starting point of operation of the ignition retard control device in a control region of condition for an excessive slipping of the driving wheel is provided between the starting region of operation of the throttle valve control device and the starting region of operation of the fuel cut control device. This permits the fuel cut control device to have a high responsiveness to a sudden variation in excessive slipping and no exhaust heat to be discharged, and also permits the throttle valve control device to become lower in responsiveness after the excessive slipping has been substantially converged but to have a small variation in fuel-air ratio. The ignition retard control device starts operation only when the excessive slipping cannot be suppressed by the throttle valve control device. Therefore, the use of the ignition retard control device which relatively easily permits an increase in the temperature of an exhaust gas can be restrained to the minimum.

    摘要: A control system for controlling driving wheels of an automotive vehicle in which when at least one of the driving wheels undergoes excessive slip, an ECU drives a pulse motor to bring a throttle valve of an internal combustion engine installed in the vehicle toward a closed position thereof to thereby suppress the excessive slip. When a state that a detected value of throttle valve opening is smaller than a detected value of accelerator pedal angle while the pulse motor is in stoppage has continued over a predetermined period of time, the ECU determines the initial position of the pulse motor by storing the detected throttle valve opening value as a reference value of the pulse motor position. If the initial pulse motor position has not been determined when a second predetermined period of time has elapsed after the pulse motor started to be driven to bring the throttle valve toward its fully closed position, a throttle system of the engine is determined to be abnormal, and then the pulse motor is forcedly driven to bring the throttle valve into its fully open position. After completion of pulse motor control for suppression of the excessive slip, the ECU carries out open loop control for driving the pulse motor to bring the throttle valve into a substantially fully open position irrespective of whether or not the initial position of the pulse motor has been determined.

    摘要: An adaptive quantizing device for use in a differential encoder which makes use of a device input signal variable in a predetermined dynamic range, a local decoded signal, and a local input signal from a prediction signal. The quantizing arrangement (12, 13) is provided for adaptively quantizing a difference between the device and the local input signals into a quantization output signal in accordance with a predetermined quantization characteristic so that the local decoded signal never exceeds the dynamic range even if the quantization output signal is accompanied by a quantization error of a maximum value. Preferably, the quantizing arrangement comprises a converting circuit (16) for quantizing the device input signal into a converted signal in accordance with a preselected quantization characteristic for use in making a single quantizer (13) adaptively quantize the difference into the quantization output signal. Alternatively, the quantizing arrangement may comprise three quantizers and a selecting arrangement for adaptively selecting one of outputs of the three quantizers. A read-only memory is preferred in implementing each of the single quantizer, the converting circuit, the three quantizers, and a combination of the three quantizers and the selecting arrangement.
