    摘要: An electrical connecting arrangement is provided for establishing electrical connections of electronic printed-circuit boards detachably mounted in a cabinet of an electronic installation at a front side thereof. For the establishment of electrical connections, at least one connector is used, and a connector support member is attached to a rear side of the cabinet. The connector includes two connector halves to be coupled to each other. One of the connector halves is detachably attached to and supported by the support member, and is joined to an end of an electrical cable. The other connector half is securely attached to and by a rear side of the printed-circuit board. The connector halves are aligned with each other upon mounting the printed-circuit board in the cabinet, to thereby ensure coupling of the connector halves.

    摘要: A shelf-type telecommunications device has a back wired board assembly mounted on a back of a shelf unit into which a plurality of plug-in units are inserted side by side. The back wired board assembly has a main back wired board to which at least one plug-in unit is connected and a sub back wired board to which at least one external cable is connected, the outer surface of the main back wired board and the inner surface of the sub back wired board opposing each other. The main back wired board and the sub back wired board are fitted together by using a plurality of relay connectors or pin terminals so as to electrically connect the main back wired board and the sub back wired board to each other without the need for coaxial cables, thus reducing the size of the device.

    摘要: A supervisory system for a primary group digital transmission line wherein a terminal repeater transmits, over a supervisory line, address information designating an intermediate repeater and line within the intermediate repeater to be monitored while the line is in a normal, in-service condition. The terminal repeater and intermediate repeaters are cascade connected by way of the supervisory line. The terminal repeater and each of the intermediate repeaters include amplifiers that receive and send information along the transmission line, and have a monitor output. The monitor output is processed by an error monitor within the terminal repeater and in each of the intermediate repeaters and the results of the error monitoring provided to the supervisory line in response to polling by the terminal repeater.

    摘要: An optical communication device comprising a horizontally rectangular main shelf, and a horizontally rectangular sub-shelf arranged in a vertically overlapping relationship with the first shelf. The main shelf and the sub-shelf have parallel guide rails in register with each other. Unit plates comprising optical modules for optical-electrical signal conversion are inserted in the main shelf in upright positions for engagement with the respective guide rails. Optical fiber supporting plates having means for supporting the optical fiber having a surplus length portion coiled in a freely extendable manner are inserted in the sub-shelf in upright positions for engagement with the respective guide rails. Accordingly, the surplus length portions of the optical fibers are orderly arranged in correspondence with the optical modules so as to prevent an incorrect connection between the optical fibers and the optical modules.
