摘要: A variable valve mechanism includes a cam that rotates about a rotating shaft in association with rotation of a crank shaft of an engine, a swinging arm that is disposed between the cam and a valve and is pushed by the rotating cam to swing and push the valve by a first end portion of the swinging arm, and a moving device that moves a second end portion of the swinging arm. Further, there is a regulating member that is coupled to the first end portion of the swinging arm so as to be rotatable and regulates displacement of the first end portion of the swinging arm relative to the valve when the second end portion of the swinging arm is moved by the moving device. The mechanism further includes a connection member that connects the second end portion of the swinging arm to the moving device.

摘要: A cam-switching device switches between first and second cams provided so as to correspond to intake exhaust valves of an engine. In a case of switching from the first cam to the second cam, a cylinder resting unit stops the opening and closing operations of the intake and exhaust valves in the same combustion cycle, and a cam shaft moving unit starts sliding the cam shaft in a first cam angle range. In a case of switching from the second cam to the first cam, the cylinder resting unit stops the opening and closing operations of the intake and exhaust valves in the same combustion cycle, and the cam shaft moving unit starts sliding the cam shaft in a second cam angle range.

摘要: A method for controlling intake and exhaust valves of an engine may include: determining, by a controller, a target opening duration of the intake and exhaust valves based on an engine load and an engine speed; modifying, by an intake continuous variable valve duration (CVVD) device and by an exhaust CVVD device, current opening and closing timings of the intake valve and/or exhaust valve based on the target opening duration of the valves; and advancing or retarding, by the intake and/or exhaust CVVD devices, the current opening timing of the intake and exhaust valves while simultaneously retarding or advancing the current closing timing of the intake and exhaust valve by a predetermined value based on the target opening duration.

The system may further include an inner bracket transmitting rotation of the cam shaft to the first cam portion, a slider housing in which the inner bracket is rotatably inserted and movable along a predetermined first direction, a rocker shaft, a first rocker arm rotatably disposed to the rocker shaft of which a first end contacts with the first cam and of which a second end is connected to a first valve, an upper housing connected with the slider housing and relatively movable with respect to the slider housing along a second direction vertical to the first direction and a control portion selectively moving the upper housing.
