    摘要: Method and apparatus for measuring three dimensional information of a target placed in an interior space of a rotator type mirror by using the rotator type mirror in combination with an imaging apparatus disposed with its light receiving axis aligned with a center axis of the rotator type mirror. The invention includes projecting reference light toward the rotator type mirror from a position on the center axis, and scanning the target with mirror reflected reference light that is produced by reflecting the reference light on the rotator type mirror. The invention further includes obtaining the three dimensional information of the target, based on a physical quantity corresponding to the projection angle of the reference light and on a physical quantity corresponding to the position of a projected image obtained when the mirror reflected reference light that scanned the target is captured by the imaging apparatus via the rotator type mirror.

    摘要: In order to produce a reproduction of an object such as a human face, a three-dimensional form of the object is measured with a three-dimensional measuring device, and the measured form is displayed. After a user approves the displayed form, a material is worked according to the measured form to work a reproduction of the object. If the user cancels the displayed form, the form is measured again and the measured form is displayed. Characteristics of the measured form are extracted, and an appropriate material is selected among a plurality of materials. On the other hand, the data of the measured form are converted to work data with reference to the size and the quality of a product to be worked which have been stored in a database. Preferably, the data are compressed in the depth direction in order to shorten the working time. Then, the material is worked in a series of processes from the form input to the working in a simple way, and the user can obtained a desired three-dimensional reproduction.

    摘要: A buttonhole forming apparatus includes a cutter, a cutter driving mechanism, and a needle plate. The needle plate has a needle plate base to hold a work cloth thereon and a pair of cutter guides in a recess to guide an edge of the cutter therein. The cutter guides are made of hard material on the inside and rubber on the outside. The hard material can be moved outward by the resilience of the rubber. The width of the cutter hole defined between the cutter guides is set as small as possible so that the cutter does not force the work cloth into the cutter hole when it is lowered where it remains clogged. When the cutter is gradually lowered, the edge of the cutter or a part of the work cloth to be cut makes contact with the tapered portions of the cutter guides, and the rubber is deformed to move the cutter guides outward. Thus, the cutting into the work cloth can be done as the width of the cutter is gradually enlarged, resulting in the formation of appropriate buttonholes without any interruption because the work cloth becomes clogged in the cutter hole.
