    摘要: In an ink droplet ejecting method and apparatus, by merely adding one pulse after a driving waveform for a main ejection of ink, without changing the driving voltage, it is possible to obtain an ink droplet of a desired volume and also possible to minimize the decrease of the ink droplet speed. The pulse width Wa of a jet pulse signal A is set equal to time T required for one-way propagation through an ink chamber of a pressure wave which is generated in the ink chamber, while the pulse width Wb of an additional pulse signal B is set at 0.2T to 0.6T, and a time difference between a fall timing of the jet pulse signal A and a rise timing of the additional pulse signal B is set at 0.3T to 0.7T, whereby an ink droplet being ejected is reduced in size and only one drive voltage is sufficient. Thus, the cost can be reduced, and a decrease of the ink droplet speed is prevented.

While an input voltage is output unmodified by the bypass witch, an offset circuit offsets an error voltage which is an output of the regulator se that a synchronous rectification switch is turned off. When an output of the power supply apparatus is switched from the bypass switch to the step-down converter and a step-down operation of the step-down converter is resumed, the synchronous rectification switch is gradually brought from an off state to an on state by an offset applied to the error voltage.

    摘要: In a stabilized power supply unit having a current limiting function, the unit is designed to have a steep over-current dropping characteristic. This minimizes the over-current region, prevents oscillation during a startup, and limits inrush current during a start up within a predetermined range. The output voltage of the power supply unit provides a constant output voltage by controlling an output transistor by means of a differential amplifier amplifying the difference between a reference voltage and an output feedback voltage. The power supply unit has a first high-gain, slow-response type current limiting circuit that outputs a first current limiting signal when the output current of the power supply unit exceeds a predetermined level, and a second low-gain, quick-response type current limiting circuit that outputs a second current limiting signal when the outputs exceeds the predetermined level.

    摘要: A headrest lock structure has a plurality of lock slots formed in a line along the axial direction of a cross-sectionally circular headrest pole and a lock plate is adapted to fit into one of the lock slots. Each lock slot has a bottom surface protruding in an arc within a region concaved from the outer peripheral surface of the headrest pole by a given distance, and a side surface formed on at least one of the sides of the bottom surface in the axial direction of the headrest pole to extend at approximately a right angle with the bottom surface. The lock plate has an arc-shaped concave portion corresponding to the profile of the bottom surface of each lock slot, and a flat portion corresponding to the side surface of each lock slot. The headrest lock structure can reliably prevent unintentional release of headrest lock.

Each frame of the interpolated GOP is compression-encoded to produce encoded moving picture data to be stored into a memory.

    摘要: Undesirable deflection of partitioning walls between ink pressure chambers is prevented during ink discharge operations even when the partitioning walls are made very thin to achieve a high density inkjet head. The diaphragms of the discharge nozzles of the inkjet head as well as the diaphragms of the non-discharge nozzles are all driven to contact the corresponding individual electrodes, and this diaphragm to individual electrode contact state is maintained in the non-discharge nozzles while the diaphragms of the discharge nozzles are released from individual electrodes to discharge ink. After printing is completed the diaphragms of the non-discharge nozzles are slowly released from the corresponding individual electrodes at a speed that will not cause undesirable ink discharge. By thus maintaining low compliance in the ink pressure chambers of the non-discharge nozzles, deformation of the partitioning walls between discharge and non-discharge nozzles due to change in the ink pressure can be reliably prevented. A drop in ink discharge performance due to such partitioning wall deformation can be reliably prevented, and printing with high resolution, precise print quality can be easily achieved.

    摘要: An ink-jet head ejects an ink droplet from an ink nozzle by the charging and discharging between a counter electrode and vibrating plates. The counter electrode comprises a main electrode and an auxiliary electrode, which is provided on the ink-nozzle's side in common with the vibrating plates. Auxiliary charging between the auxiliary electrode and the vibrating plates is effected to vibrate a meniscus in the ink nozzle without ejecting a useless droplet. Consequently, the ink is prevented from forming a film on the meniscus, and an increase of the viscosity of the ink due to evaporation of the ink solvent is prevented by diffusing the ink in the ink passage.
