摘要: The present invention provides a heat-sensitive recording material in which heat-sensitive recording layers are provided on a support, the heat-sensitive recording layers each containing, as an emulsified dispersion, an electron-accepting compound which reacts with an electron-donating dye precursor to form color, or a coupler compound which reacts with a diazonium salt to form color. At least one layer of the heat-sensitive recording layers contains the emulsified dispersion having a volume average particle size of less than 0.18 μm. The volume average particle size of the emulsified dispersion is preferably less than 0.5 relative to the volume average particle size of the microcapsules encapsulating the electron-donating dye precursor or the diazonium salt.

摘要: A status processor is communicable with a host device via a network. The processor includes a media connecting unit, a status-reflecting filename setting unit, and a server unit. The media connecting unit is capable of connecting a storage media. The status-reflecting filename setting unit sets a status-reflecting filename corresponding to a status of the processor or the storage media. The server unit transmits data indicating an existence of the file having the status-reflecting filename to the host device.

摘要: An image display device is disclosed in which poor display resulting from deflection of electron bundles which occurs due to electrification of spacers and secondary electron emission can be positively prevented and a high-quality display can be therefore obtained. In the image display device, electron sources in the vicinity of the spacers are displaced with respect to arranging positions at equal pitches, by distances which allow drifts of the electron bundles from phosphors, which are brought about by the deflection of the electron bundles which occurs due to electrification of the spacers and secondary electron emission, to be cancelled.

摘要: A field emission type display device has a structure in which each pixel is constituted of a combination of a plurality of small apertures and a plurality of small electron sources. Due to such a constitution, it is possible to reduce undesired impact of electrons on control electrodes and the enhancement of the heat resistance of the carbon nanotubes of electron sources, whereby it is possible to obtain a display device of high quality and long lifetime, while exhibiting a high-performance electron emission characteristic. Boron (B) is adhered to carbon nanotubes, which constitute electron sources, through the small apertures of the control electrodes; and, hence, the alignment of the small apertures and the small electron sources is ensured and the area of the electron source is set to be equal to or less than the area of the aperture.

摘要: A display device that includes: a first substrate on which a second conductive layer to be stacked on a first conductive layer through an insulating layer is formed; a second substrate facing the first substrate; and a pillar-shaped spacer that holds the first substrate and the second substrate so that a gap between the first substrate and the second substrate is substantially uniform. The pillar-shaped spacer is disposed above the first conductive layer. The pillar-shaped spacer is disposed above the first conductive layer through a hole provided in the second conductive layer in a region where the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer are stacked through the insulating layer.
