    摘要: A method is disclosed which produces acrylic acid in a high yield as maintaining the conditions for purifying acrylic acid in constant ranges and preventing the acrylic acid from polymerization. By using a reactor which has first reaction zone and second reaction zone formed of different reaction tubes, propylene concentration adjusting in the range of 7–15 vol. % and water concentration adjusting in the range of 0–10 vol. % are introduced thereto thereby obtaining an acrylic acid-containing gas. Then the gas is introduced to an acrylic acid absorption column to adjust water concentration in the range of 1–45 wt. %, thereby preventing from polymerization.

    摘要: A process is provided which can effectively inhibit occurrence of hot spots in reaction zones or heat accumulation at the hot spots, in the occasion of producing acrolein and acrylic acid through vapor phase oxidation of propylene in the presence of a catalyst using a fixed bed shell-and-tube reactor, said catalyst having a composition represented by a general formula (1): MoaWbBicFedAeBfCgDhEiOx (wherein A is at least an element selected from Co and Ni; B is at least an element selected from P, Te, As, B, Sb, Sn, Ce, Nb, Pb, Cr, Mn and Zn; C is alkali metal element; D is alkaline earth metal element; E is at least an element selected from Si, Al, Ti and Zr; and O is oxygen; a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i and x denote the atomic numbers of Mo, W, Bi, Fe, A, B, C, D, E and O, respectively, and where a is 12, b is 0-5, c is 0.1-10, d is 0.1-10, e is 1-20, fis 0-5, g is 0.001-3, h is 0-3, i is 0-30, and x is a numerical value which is determined depending on the extent of oxidation of each of the elements). Said process is characterized by preparing plural kinds of catalysts having the above composition but differing from each other in (&agr;) occupying volume, (&bgr;) calcining temperature and/or (&ggr;) kind and/or amount of alkali metal element, and filling the reaction zones provided by dividing the catalyst layer in each of the reaction tubes in the reactor into at least two layers in the axial direction of the tube, sequentially with said plural kinds of catalysts in such a manner that the catalytic activity increases from the starting gas inlet side toward the outlet side.

    摘要: The present invention produces (meth)acrylic acid in a high yield in a process for producing (meth)acrylic acid by subjecting at least one member selected from the group consisting of (meth)acrolein, propane, and isobutane to catalytic gas phase oxidation with molecular oxygen or a molecular-oxygen-containing gas. In addition, the present invention makes it possible to produce (meth)acrylic acid in a high yield and stably for a long time. The present invention provides a process for producing (meth)acrylic acid by catalytic gas phase oxidation reaction, which is characterized by allowing a reaction gas to contain a reducible compound.

    摘要: In the production of acrolein and acrylic acid by the catalytic gas phase oxidation of propylene with a molecular oxygen-containing gas, a method is provided which enables acrolein and acrylic acid to be stably produced with a high yield for a long time from propylene by effectively repressing such secondary reactions as are responsible for the formation of organic acids, high boiling compounds, and tarry compounds, the deposition of carbonized materials, and the deterioration of the quality of products. The content of unsaturated hydrocarbons (excluding propylene) of 2-5 carbon atoms in the raw material for propylene is kept below 500 ppm (by weight). Particularly, it is proper to use a raw material for propylene which has a content of unsaturated hydrocarbons (excluding propylene) of 2-5 carbon atoms of not more than 200 ppm (by weight) and a total content of diene and acetylenic compounds of 2-5 carbon atoms of not more than 200 ppm (by weight). The catalyst of this invention comprises (A) a catalyst having Mo and V as essential components and used for the production of acrylic acid by vapor-phase catalytic oxidation of acrolein and (B) a solid acid having acid strength (Ho) of not more than −11.93.
