摘要： The present invention relates to an audio processing system and method for automatically adjusting volume. The method includes steps of: calculating a noise level as a reference noise level; periodically calculating a new noise level of a predetermined time period, and dividing the reference noise level by the new noise level to obtain a ratio; sampling digital audio signals generated by a decoding unit to obtain a plurality of amplitude values, periodically calculating an audio energy value of the predetermined time period; multiplying the audio energy value by the ratio to obtain a reference audio energy value; calculating a gain value according to the reference audio energy value and the default gain value; updating the default gain value with the gain value; and signaling the gain amplifier to amplify the analog audio signals received with the gain value, thereby protecting users' hearing.

摘要： The present invention relates to an audio processing method for hearing protection in an ambient environment, includes steps of: sampling digital audio signals decoded to obtain a plurality of amplitude values of the digital audio signals; obtaining a default gain value; calculating an actual audio energy of the digital audio signals sampled during a predetermined period time according to the amplitude values sampled in the predetermined period time and the default gain value; collecting ambient noises to calculate an ambient noise level; obtaining a reference audio energy according to the ambient noise level; comparing the actual audio energy with the reference audio energy; and generating a hearing protection signal if the actual audio energy reaches the reference audio energy, whereby protecting users' hearing. The present invention also provides a corresponding audio processing apparatus.

摘要： An electronic device and method for controlling a cursor is provided. The electronic device includes a display, a timer, and a processing unit. The display includes a screen and a frame thereof. The frame further has a touch sensitive region for generating sensing signals in response to an input operation. Each sensing signal is assigned a coordinate for identification. The timer records a time duration of continuously receiving the sensing signals. The processing unit determines a direction of the input operation according to the coordinates assigned to the sensing signals and a speed of the input operation according to the duration of the timer, and thus moves a cursor displayed on the screen corresponding to the direction and speed. A related method is also provided.
