Abstract:
The invention relates to a system and method for web-based monitoring and control of distributed installations, with at least one web client which interchanges data/information with web servers in the respective distributed installation via communications links, where the at least one web client has applications and an integration layer for this purpose which execute, show and/or display the data/information interchange with the distributed installations.
Abstract:
A two-stage sealing arrangement for sealing an annular gap between an outer bearing ring and an inner bearing ring of a rolling-contact bearing, includes a first sealing element securely fixed to the outer bearing ring and having at least one sealing lip supported against the inner bearing ring. A second sealing element is disposed at an axial distance to the first sealing element, thereby defining a circular ring shaped sealing gap in a radial direction for accommodating, at least partially, a sealing material.
Abstract:
A plug-in connection comprising a connector (1) for fitting onto a counter connector (2), contact elements (3) of the connector (1) entering into an electrical conducting connection with counter contact elements (4) of the counter connector (2), with a sleeve (7) which surrounds the contact elements (3) carried by a core (K) and forms a snap collar (18) for gripping behind a latching bead (27, 28) of the counter connector (2) and with a locking coupling (5) which is displaceable in the plugging direction and which, in a release position, allows radial escape of the snap collar (18) and, in a locking position, prevents it, the core (K) being made of a harder plastic than a casing (17) surrounding the core (K) with a spacing and forming a sleeve portion (7) which has peripheral interruptions (8 and 9) and on the inside of which the snap collar (18) of softer plastic is formed integrally with the casing (17).
Abstract:
A plug connector for an optical waveguide (5), which has a sheathed, light-conducting core (1) and an outer cladding (3) which surrounds the core sheathing (2), having a plug part (6), which can be plugged together with a mating plug part (7), the plug part (6) forming a tube (8) for insertion of the core (1), which can be severed flush with the tube end (9), and the mating plug part (7) forming a shaft (10) for insertion of the tube (8), which shaft (10) at the foot side is directed toward a transmitting/receiving element (11). It is of relevance that the plug part (6) is of two-part configuration, having a retaining part (12), which includes the tube (8) and holding parts (13, 14) for the core sheathing (2) and also the outer cladding (3), and a cap part (15), which can be clipped in a watertight manner to the retaining part (12) and has a passage opening for the optical waveguide (5).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for achieving adhesion between layers of tissue paper, according to which a surface structure corresponding to that of sandpaper is pressed into the product along the side of at least one roller when the individual layers are joined in a roll nip. This results in good adhesion between layers with only minor optical impairment of the product surface and without the use of glue or such like.
Abstract:
A control system for the radio coverage of a cellular digital mobile communication system by a process for the lighting of radio cells, in which the mobile station (MS) is supplied with the same signal from several base stations (BS) from the edge of the cell in the mutual broadcasting system via directional aerials. One cell controller (CC) is provided for the compound optimization of the cell parameters which contains the new functions for signal processing and the control of the radio devices determined by the radio cell lighting process used.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a tension roller made of a plastic material for adjusting a tension in a belt drive, comprising a wheel (7) having an inner ring (9) and an outer ring (10) connected to each other by axially oriented, circumferentially spaced ribs (12) and by a central web (8), the wheel (7) being rotatably mounted on a support element (2) which bears by a running face against the belt (3). According to the invention, successive ribs (12) enclose different angles with reference to a central point of the wheel.
Abstract:
The monochromator has, as a beam-diffracting element, a scanning mirror (3) which is fastened on a vibratory spring, preferably a spring-steel strap (8), clamped on one side. The vibratory spring is oscillated by way of an electromechanical self-energized oscillation circuit, a sensor (11a, 11b) which detects the deflection of the vibratory spring (8) is provided and whose output signal is used as a feedback signal for maintaining the oscillation of the vibratory spring (8). The amplitude of oscillation of the oscillating element can likewise be varied. With such a design it is possible to produce simply and inexpensively a monochromator with which a considerable spectral range can be swept and, in addition, the width and position of said spectral range can be variably adjusted.
Abstract:
A power shift stage in the driveline of an internal combustion engine, is shifted depending on the load on the engine between at least two rotational speed ratios. A control system automatically controls shifting to improve driving comfort and increase productivity. The control system includes a switch connected to a fuel adjusting element or throttle, an engine rotational speed sensor and a control unit. The control unit automatically shifts the power shift stage in dependence upon the status of the switch and upon the sensed engine speed.
Abstract:
In a communications system with a plurality of subscriber stations independent of each other, where each subscriber station can access a joint duplex transmission channel according to a multiple access method, the probability of simultaneous attempts to get access becomes very image, and thereby the probability of signal destruction is particularly increased. In order to avoid a blockage of the service channel each subscriber station occupies the duplex transmission channel with a short access signal for initiating a transmission starting from the subscriber station. The subscriber station characterized by the position in time and/or the information contents of the short access signal is thereupon invited by the central base station to emit an access signal to join practical access to the communication exchange.
