    摘要: In a thin-film transistor to be used in an active matrix liquid crystal display device, each of a gate signal line, a source signal line, and a drain extraction electrode has a three-layer structure. Specifically, each of these members is made up of a lower layer made of a titanium film, an intermediate layer made of an aluminum film, and an upper layer made of a titanium film containing nitrogen. Since the respective upper layers, in contact with a gate insulating film or an interlayer insulating film made of a silicon nitride film, are made of titanium films containing nitrogen, they have superior adhesion to the silicon nitride film. Consequently, film peeling, etc. during the manufacturing process can be suppressed. Further, providing the titanium film beneath the aluminum film contributes to reduction of the resistance of the aluminum film.

    摘要: Liquid developing agent for electrostatic photography comprising resin grains dispersed in a non-aqueous solvent with an electrical resistance of 10.sup.9 106 cm or more and a permittivity of 3.5 or less, wherein said dispersed resin grains are polymer resin grains produced by a polymerization reaction of a solution containingat least one monofunctional monomer (A) which is soluble in the nonaqueous solvents, but is made insoluble by polymerization, andat least one resin (B) for dispersion stabilization that is soluble in said nonaqueous solvent and is a polymer which has repeating units represented by formula (I) below, a portion of which is crosslinked and in which an acidic group selected fromamong --PO.sub.3 H.sub.2, --SO.sub.3 H, --COOH, --OH, --SH and ##STR1## groups, where R.sup.1 represents a hydrocarbon group, is bonded to only one end of at least one polymer main chain. ##STR2## wherein X.sup.1 represents --COO--, --OCO--, --CH.sub.2 OCO--, --CH.sub.2 COO--, --O-- or --SO.sub.2 --;Y.sup.1 represents an aliphatic group having from 6 to 32 carbon atoms; anda.sup.1 and a.sup.2 may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, --COO--Z.sup.1 or --COO--Z.sup.1 linked via a hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, where Z.sup.1 represents a hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 18 carbon atoms.

    摘要: A liquid developer for electrostatic photography is described, comprising at least a resin dispersed in a non-aqueous solvent having an electric resistance of at least 10.sup.9 ohms.cm and a dielectric constant of not more than 3.5. The resin is a copolymer resin obtained by polymerizing a solution containing at least one monofunctional monomer (A) which is soluble in the non-aqueous solvent but becomes insoluble upon polymerization and at least one specified monomer (B) containing an aliphatic group having at least 8 carbon atoms and being copolymerizable with the monomer (A), in the presense of a resin not containing a grafting group polymerizable with the monomers and being soluble in the non-aqueous solvent. The resin may be colored by dissolving at least one organic dye in the dispersion of the resin and heating the mixture. The developer has excellent dispersion stability, redispersibility, fixability and preservability.
