Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for resource configuration and selection for device-to-device links in mobile communication technology are described. An exemplary method for wireless communication includes receiving, by a wireless device from a network node, a configuration for multiple resource pools that are associated with a carrier set, selecting, based on the configuration, a resource from the multiple resource pools, and performing, using the resource, a device-to-device link communication. Another exemplary method for wireless communication includes receiving, by a wireless device from a network node, a configuration for multiple resource pools that are associated with a carrier set, receiving, from the network node, a dedicated resource, and performing, using the dedicated resource, a device-to-device link communication.

Abstract: Sidelink based relay communications include communications through a relay user equipment (“UE”) between a basestation and a remote UE. Relay communications can be improved by addressing incompatibilities between different devices, which support different features/operations, such as the layers of communication. Access control and an establishment cause value can also be addressed by the relay communications. Paging identification and system information can be communicated by relay communications, such as through the relay UE to improve communications.

Abstract: This disclosure above describes a method, a device, and a system for sidelink communication. Abstract: Disclosed is a resource requesting and allocation method. The method includes: receiving one or more semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration information, transmitting resource request information, and receiving SPS resource allocation information configured by a network control unit according to the resource request information. This solves the problem in the existing art of an excessively large delay caused by SPS scheduling, thereby satisfying a low-delay requirement of services.
