Abstract: Provided is a method for sending a data packet, including: adding, by an Integrated Access and Backhaul Links (IAB) node, an adaptation layer packet header to a data packet, and sending, by the IAB node, the data packet to a next-hop IAB node, wherein the data packet is a control plane signaling or a user plane data packet; or acquiring, by the IAB node, bearer configuration information, determining, by the IAB node according to the bearer configuration information, a bearer for sending a data packet, and sending, by the IAB node, the data packet to a child IAB node, a parent IAB node or an IAB donor through the bearer.
