Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a climate management system that includes a heat exchanger having a first set of microchannel coils fluidly coupled to a first circuit of the climate management system and a second set of microchannel coils fluidly coupled to a second circuit of the climate management system, where the first circuit and the second circuit are fluidly separate from one another, and where the first set of microchannel coils and the second set of microchannel coils are disposed in an alternating arrangement along a length of the heat exchanger such that the first set of microchannel coils and the second set of microchannel coils are interlaced in the heat exchanger.

The system includes the cognitive agents, each of the cognitive agents configured to receive the identified building state from the learning engine, generate a control decision based on the received building state, and operate at least one of the plurality of subsystems of the building to control a physical condition of the building based on the control decision.

Abstract: A thermostat is disclosed. The thermostat can include one or more temperature sensors configured to measure one or more temperature values. The thermostat can include a processing circuit. The processing circuit can receive the one or more temperature values from the one or more temperature sensors. The processing circuit can receive one or more central processing unit (CPU) usage values, wherein the one or more CPU usage values indicate computing usage of the processing circuit. The processing circuit can determine, based on an empirical model comprising one or more gain values and one or more filters and based on one or more signals, a temperature of the building. The one or more signals comprise the one or more temperature values and the one or more CPU usage values. The empirical model accounts for dynamics of heat generated by the processing circuit and airflow acting on the thermostat.

The building manager further includes a fault detection and diagnostics layer configured to use statistical analysis on the inputs received from the integrated control layer to detect and diagnose faults. The building manager yet further includes a demand response layer configured to process the information received from the smart energy grid to determine adjustments to the plurality of control algorithms of the integrated control layer.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a gas valve assembly for a furnace. The gas valve assembly includes a gas valve including an inlet flange having an outer geometric profile and defining a gas inlet of the gas valve. The gas valve assembly also includes a bracket having a mounting panel, a first support flange, and a second support flange, where the mounting panel extends between and is integral with the first support flange and the second support flange. A slot is formed in the first support flange and defined by a portion of a perimeter of the bracket. The outer geometric profile of the inlet flange corresponds to a profile of the slot, and the slot is configured to receive and abut a portion of the outer geometric profile. A passage is formed in the second support flange and configured to receive a gas flow from the gas valve.

Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a first condenser coil of a refrigerant circuit, wherein the first condenser coil is configured to receive a first refrigerant flow from a compressor of the refrigerant circuit, a modulating valve of the refrigerant circuit, and control circuitry communicatively coupled to the modulating valve. The modulating valve is configured to receive a second refrigerant flow from the compressor and configured to direct the second refrigerant flow to a second condenser coil of the refrigerant circuit and to a reheat coil of the refrigerant circuit in a parallel flow arrangement, and the control circuitry is configured to operate the modulating valve to apportion the second refrigerant flow between the second condenser coil and the reheat coil based on a detected operating parameter of an air flow directed across the reheat coil.

The variable speed drive includes a primary winding of a step down transformer coupled to an alternating current (AC) power source, a first secondary winding of the step down transformer, where the first secondary winding is configured to supply power at a variable supplied voltage to the motor when the motor operates below a threshold voltage, and a second secondary winding of the step down transformer, where the second secondary winding is configured to supply power at a fixed supplied voltage when the motor operates at or above the threshold voltage.
