Likewise through this shaping method, the first ramp disk (11) and the second ramp disk (12) have on an outer periphery (UA) an integrally formed safety stop device (14) for respective end positions.

Each blade has a first surface for guiding a fluid in the torque converter and a second surface substantially parallel to the inner surface. The blades may include sheet steel and may be made by stamping. In an example embodiment of the invention, each blade includes at least one tab, the shell comprises a plurality of slots or indents, and the at least one tab is disposed in a respective slot or indent. The shell may be an outer shell or a core ring for a pump or turbine for the torque converter.

The valve body has a hollow center defining a passage. The control valve includes a solenoid assembly having a solenoid housing, a coil, and an armature movable in an axial direction. The armature is in contact with an axial end of the valve body. The armature has a bore in fluid connection with the passage of the valve body. The solenoid housing includes a second passage in fluid connection with the bore. A diaphragm seals the second passage. A pressure sensor assembly is located adjacent to the diaphragm that detects a deflection of the diaphragm due to a pressure of the hydraulic fluid in the second passage.

At least one magnetic element of the two units for changing the magnetic field overlap of the magnetic fields of the primary and secondary-side magnetic elements is arranged movably within its unit by the centrifugal forces occurring during operation.
