    Abstract: A mechanical oscillator, formed of a mechanical resonator and a device for maintaining oscillation, and an auxiliary oscillator forming a reference time base including a synchronisation device arranged to slave the medium frequency of the mechanical oscillator on that of the auxiliary oscillator. The synchronisation device includes an electromagnetic braking device which is formed of a coil and at least one permanent magnet and arranged such that an induced voltage is generated between the terminals of the coil in each alternation of the oscillation of the mechanical resonator. The synchronisation device is arranged to be able to reduce momentarily the impedance between the terminals of the coil during distinct time intervals, any two successive time intervals exhibiting between the respective starts thereof a time distance substantially equal to a positive whole number multiplied by half of a set-point period for the mechanical oscillator.

    Abstract: A mechanism including a rotary element and a magnetic device for guiding this rotary element in rotation arranged so as to exert a radial magnetic biasing force on the rotary element when a central axis of this rotary element undergoes a radial movement relative to a given axis of rotation. The magnetic device includes a pair of annular magnets the first annular magnet of which is carried by the rotary element and the second annular magnet is carried by a structure of the mechanism. The second annular magnet is parallel and axially superimposed with the first annular magnet when the central axis of the rotary element is coincident with the axis of rotation, the first and second annular magnets being arranged in magnetic attraction so as to impart on one another an axial magnetic force and a radial magnetic force.

    Abstract: A method for detecting an RF signal detected by a super-regenerative receiver (1). The receiver includes a reference oscillator (4) for generating an oscillation in the oscillator, a bias current generator (7) for supplying a bias current, an oscillation detector (6) connected between an output (coilp) of the oscillator and the bias current generator for controlling when an RF signal is received by the receiver, and an impedance matching unit (3) disposed between the input of the receiver and the reference oscillator (4). Following activation of a start control signal, detection of the oscillation of the reference oscillator is performed, and once the reference oscillator oscillates above a critical increasing bias current value, the oscillation detector orders the bias current generator to cut off the bias current and thus stop the oscillation of the reference oscillator to reduce the overall electricity consumption during an RF signal detection phase.
