Abstract:
A dispenser includes a housing, a push rod, and a push rod driving mechanism. The push rod is moveable relative to the housing. The housing has at least two housing parts and is configured to receive at least a portion of the push rod driving mechanism to move the push rod relative to the housing. The at least two housing parts are held together by the push rod.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a caulking gun for dispensing viscous material comprising a stock a cartridge keep a push rod longitudinally moveably mounted in the stock provided at its one end with a plunger which engages the piston of a cartridge placed in the cartridge keep, means for engaging the push rod to advance it, brake means hinged to the stock and provided with a clearance hole for engaging the push rod such that the push rod is moveable in a direction advancing the push rod towards the cartridge and is held in a direction retreating the push rod from the cartridge, which brake means are arranged to travel to a first position relative to the stock as the push rod advances and to a second position as the push rod retreats thereby defining the retreat of the push rod, the brake means being inclined relative to the axis of the push rod and adjusting means for varying the retreat of the push rod. In order to provide an adjustable caulking gun with at least two different levels of retreat of the push rod giving the user easily a visual feedback of the chosen retreat of the push rod, it is proposed according to the present invention that the adjusting means are configured as a rotatable wheel with a slope, the rotatable wheel being positioned on the axis of the push rod between the stock and the brake means, the distance between the highest point of the slope and the brake means defining the retreat of the push rod. This rotatable wheel allows the user to select the level of retreat of the push rod by turning the wheel between a first position with no retreat of the push rod and a second position with a maximum retreat of the push rod resulting in a anti-drip behaviour of the caulking gun.
Abstract:
A discharging device simultaneously delivers at least two flowable components of a multi-component compound from different storage volumes. The discharging device includes at least two pistons which are movable along an extension direction thereof to deliver the components from the at least two storage volumes, and an advancing unit for moving the pistons along the extension direction thereof. The advancing unit has at least one energy storage element, which is provided for supplying a force for moving the pistons and at least one release element, which is provided for releasing the movement of the pistons by the at least one storage element.
Abstract:
A system for dispensing sprayable material such as paint and other liquefied products. The system includes a dispenser designed to accept a flexible, crushable, container filled with sprayable material and having a valve and spray tip at one end. The container is placed into a slot in the dispenser with the valve on the container secured in the housing of the dispenser. In operation, a plunger that runs lengthwise within the housing of the dispenser exerts force on the bottom of the container crushing it as it is emptied and forcing the sprayable material out through the valve and spray tip.
Abstract:
The method and the device for producing a multicomponent compound, in particular for dental purposes, is characterized in that the pressing-out process, at the beginning thereof, is carried out at a reduced pressure.
Abstract:
A viscous applicator having a chamber for holding viscous fluid such as dry wall compound. A one-way filling valve and a discharge nozzle are located on the chamber. The nozzle is opened and closed using a pull rod connected to a seal on one end. The second end is controlled by a rotatable handle on the applicator main housing. A gas spring is located in the housing and retracts during loading of dry wall compound into the chamber and discharges compound when the discharge nozzle is opened by the pull rod. The handle is spring loaded to close the nozzle when released. A hollow push rod connects the gas spring to a dispensing head in the chamber and the pull rod is movable through the push rod and the dispensing head. A series of cam slots and followers controls motions of the handle and the pull rod.
Abstract:
The device for applying a flowable medium, in particular a tissue adhesive is provided with at least one reservoir (16) for the medium, wherein said reservoir (16) comprises an outlet (22) from which the medium exits when pressure is applied to the medium and/or said reservoir (16). A pressure-generating element (20) acts upon the medium and/or said reservoir (16) and is biased by a biasing means (34). Said biasing means (34) can be locked with the aid of a controllable locking means (58), wherein said locking means (58) comprises a movable fixing element (54) which, in at least one fixing position, locks the biasing element (34) against movements caused by the biasing process, and is movable out of the at least one fixing position to release said biasing element (34). Further, a release means (81) for selected release of said locking means (58) is provided, wherein said release means (81) comprises a release element (82) for temporary movement of the fixing element (56) out of its at least one fixing position.
Abstract:
A dispenser gun having a hollow tubular body member for receiving a cartridge of flowable material therein, and a removable cap member to maintain the cartridge within the body member so that a nozzle of the cartridge extends through an opening in the cap member. The body member includes a trigger mechanism for acting upon a cam retaining mechanism to disengage a cable into a released position to allow a spring biased pressure disc, which is connected to the cable, to act upon the cartridge to dispense or discharge the flowable material therefrom. In the non-discharging position, the cam retaining mechanism engages the cable in a locked position so that the cable prevents any forward movement of the pressure disc against the cartridge. The cartridge can be of either the disposable type or the reusable type, where a liquid impermeable insert bag can be inserted within the reusable type cartridge. A tool can be used to move the pressure disc back to its original position within the body member to receive a new cartridge within the body member.
Abstract:
A portable steam bath and bathing apparatus comprises an enclosure including a collapsable framework and a separate foldable, flexible cover attached thereto as well as base means. Vapor distribution means is supported by the framework for distributing vapor within the enclosure. Bath water dispenser means is supported by the framework and includes a water discharge means disposed within the enclosure and a bath water container portion supported outside of the enclosure and including a spring urged plunger means to force water from the container portion through said water discharge means. A dispenser device includes a hollow container portion for flowable material and has an outlet means. Plunger means is slidably mounted within the container portion and spring means normally urges the plunger means toward the outlet means. A cock arm is connected to the plunger means and extends through slot means formed in a housing means. The slot means has a part extending longitudinally of the housing and a part extending laterally of the housing. A manually operated control means is provided for controlling movement of the plunger.
