摘要: Inkjet printing system for processing substrates including a chuck for placement of a substrate and an inkjet printing head with at least one nozzle. Each chuck has chuck reference marks, each of which is associated with an associated camera. An electronic controller assembly is configured to take a set of images each instance a substrate having substrate reference marks has been placed on a chuck, with each image containing a chuck reference mark and a substrate reference mark. For each image, the position of the chuck relative to the camera and the position of the substrate relative to the camera is determined. Subsequently, the substrate position relative to the chuck is calculated and based thereon the firing of the at least one nozzle is timed and the movement of the printing motion assembly is controlled so that the liquid drops are accurately positioned on the substrate.

摘要: Aspects are directed to printing a garment and include a method having steps of providing a fabric panel containing polyester, applying an ink layer to a first area of the fabric panel, curing the ink layer, and applying a sublimation dye to the first area and a different second area of the fabric panel. Application of the sublimation dye causes the first area and the second area to have different color saturations. Other aspects include a garment with a fabric panel containing polyester that has a first surface with a first area and a different second area. The garment also includes an ink layer on the first surface and located at the first area and a sublimation dye absorbed by a portion of the fabric panel at the second area and on a surface of the ink layer at the first area.

摘要: A computer-controlled system determines attributes of a frexel, an area of human skin, and applies a modifying agent (RMA) at the pixel level, typically to make the skin appear more youthful and so more attractive. The system scans the frexel, identifies unattractive attributes, and applies the RMA, typically with an inkjet printer. The identified attributes relate to reflectance and may refer to features such as irregular-looking light and dark spots, age-spots, scars, and bruises. Identified attributes may also relate to the surface topology of the skin, for more precisely enhancing surface irregularities such as bumps and wrinkles. Feature mapping may be used, for example to make cheeks appear pinker and cheekbones more prominent. The RMA can be applied in agreement with identified patterns, such as adding red to a red frexel, or in opposition, such as adding green or blue to a red frexel, according to idealized models of attractiveness.

摘要: An inkjet printing method with an inkjet printing device includes a vacuum belt having a set of air-channels connecting a top-surface and a bottom-surface of the vacuum belt. The set of air-channels couples an inkjet receiver to the vacuum belt by air suction in the set of air-channels, wherein the vacuum belt includes a dimple at the top-surface. The dimple has a closed bottom end, and wherein the dimple is connected with an air-channel of the set of air-channels to form an air cup and to couple the inkjet receiver to the vacuum belt at the dimple by air suction.

摘要: Systems and methods to initiate and perform the painting of an area of interest on a finger are herein disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method, which may be implemented on a system, of capturing an image of the finger in response to receiving a request to paint the area of interest on the finger and using the image of the finger to ascertain an area of interest of the fingernail to be painted. One embodiment includes, in response to determining that the user is satisfied with the area of interest that has been determined, initiating the painting of the area of interest and/or depicting, in real time, the painting of the area of interest to the user.

摘要: A geographically remote computing device transmits an image to a central computing device. The geographically remote computing device also communicates specifications of a substrate or substrates to be imaged to the central computing device. The central computing device selects a geographically remote fulfillment printer. A local, but geographically diverse distribution system is available according to the invention. The central computing device chooses the geographically remote fulfillment printer as a function of factors such as the selected image and substrate, printer capabilities, and the consumer's location. Image quality and consistency is maintained by the central computer selecting an appropriate geographically remote computing device and providing printer the appropriate instructions, rather than the instructions for printing being determined locally at the printer.
