    摘要: An outboard motor includes a cooling water passage structure, in which a combustion chamber periphery water jacket through which the cooling water flows around the combustion chamber and an exhaust port periphery water jacket through which the cooling water flows around the exhaust port are formed in the cylinder head, a cylinder periphery water jacket through which the cooling water flows around the cylinder is formed in the cylinder block, and an exhaust passage periphery water jacket through which the cooling water flows around the exhaust passage is formed around the exhaust passage. The water jackets are connected such that the cooling water from the water passage will flow through the combustion chamber periphery water jacket, the exhaust port periphery water jacket, the cylinder periphery water jacket, and the exhaust passage periphery water jacket in order.

A cooling water passage structure of the motor has main water intakes provided on the left and right of the casing, a cooling water passage which guides therethrough water taken up through the main water intakes to a cooling water pump, and sub water intakes disposed on the left and right of the pointed portion of the gear case provided to the casing to give an appearance of bullet in the front-back direction. The sub water intake on the left is allowed to communicate through a left cooling water passage with the main water intake on the left. The sub water intake on the right is allowed to communicate through a right cooling water passage with the main water intake on the right.

    摘要: The invention relates to a drive device (1) for a watercraft (2) comprising a U or Z-shaped drive train. The drive torque is preferably deflected in the operating position at least twice about the angle (b, g)>0 via at least two bevel gears (23, 24, 3a 20) between a motor shaft of a drive machine formed, preferably, by an internal combustion engine and at least one propeller shaft (13a, 13b).     摘要: A cooling system for an out drive of a stern drive device draws water from a body of water in which a marine vessel is operated and conducts the water through a conduit to an outlet end that is configured to direct a stream of water into a space which is defined under a removably attachable cover and above a surface of a heat producing portion of the out drive. The cover contains a turbulently flowing stream of water in the space in order to more efficiently conduct the water in thermal communication with the outer surface of the heat producing portion. Return passages are provided between the cover and the surface of the out drive to allow water to return, under the influence of gravity, back to the body of water from which it was drawn.
