摘要： A fire detection system comprising a control panel comprised of one or more controllers for controlling a plurality of devices. A pair of lines are operably connected to the control panel and the devices for communicating signals between said control panel and said devices. A circuit for providing a polarity sensing power and signal interface is provided between the control panel and devices to reduce to reduce system maintenance. The circuit includes a rectifier circuit operably connected the pair of lines wherein the rectifier circuit is comprised of at least two transistors for providing the circuit with a low-impedance path to ground and providing the circuit with a polarity insensitive output. Capacitors may be operably connected to the transistors in the rectifier circuit to keep the transistors turned on when a low voltage is applied to the rectifier circuit.

摘要： A fire detector and a fire alarm system wherein a plurality of fire detectors are connected across a pair of lines leading to a signal station and which is capable of detecting, at the signal station, removal of a detector head or heads from an associated socket or sockets of any one or more detectors and yet capable of keeping the succeeding fire detectors operative to send a possible fire alarm signal even after removal of the head or heads. Each of said fire detectors comprises a means for disconnecting the line connected therethrough to the succeeding detector, temporarily in the course of removal of the detector head or heads from the associated socket or sockets or periodically after the detector or detectors has or have been removed from the associated socket or sockets. The signal station comprises a means for detecting the temporary or periodical disconnection of the line.

摘要： An ionization chamber includes an ionizing element which, in combination with an electrical circuit, is so arranged that the electrical resistance of the chamber increases when smoke, or fire aerosols are detected; the sensor further includes an electrical circuit which has a first threshold detector responsive to a first threshold value of increase of resistance to permit generation of a warning signal, and a second threshold level with a second threshold detector, which responds upon exceeding of the second threshold level to provide an alarm signal different from the first warning signal arising at the first threshold level. Preferably, the warning signal is a constantly arising current, and the alarm signal is a signal of varying intensity.
