摘要: A gunshot detection system includes gunshot sensor units and a control panel. The gunshot sensor units generate audio data and encrypt the audio data using an encryption key before storing the audio data and/or sending it to the control panel. The control panel decrypts received encrypted audio data using a decryption key. The encryption keys might be programmed at the control panel and distributed to the gunshot sensor units. The control panel would also store decryption keys for decrypting the audio data from each of the different gunshot sensor units. An additional layer of end-to-end encryption is provided for messages exchanged between the devices. The gunshot sensor units can also be equipped with wireless interfaces for communicating with the control panel over a communication network. To address potential bandwidth issues, the gunshot sensor units determine current network conditions and compress the audio data based on the current network conditions.

The address card 102 includes one or more of a plurality of optically recognisable colour elements 201-210 for encoding an address. The remote unit 14, 16, 18 includes an optical sensor 116 for identifying colour characteristics of the optically recognisable colour elements 201-210, and a control system 118 for determining the address from the colour characteristics.

Therefore, in the posture detection device and posture detection method of the present invention, the posture of a monitored subject can be determined more precisely with a simpler configuration.

Then, the control unit (110) corrects moving distances extracted for the respective employees by adding correction coefficients and converts these into moving time distances, and transmits information regarding the suspicious person to a mobile terminal device (30) at the shortest moving time distance to the position of the suspicious person.

摘要: An adapter base for use with a hazardous condition detector system. The system includes a plurality of detectors (alarms) that are operable to detect at least one hazardous condition in a physical structure such as a building and a control panel that is not electronically compatible with the detectors. At least one adapter base is communicatively coupled to at least one of the plurality of detectors and the control panel. The at least one adapter base can sense an alarm signal from the at least one of the plurality of detectors and transmit an alert signal to the control panel, thereby communicatively coupling all of the plurality of detectors with the control panel.

The detector base may include a radio device affixed to the detector base and serving for transmitting position data of the detector base mounting location and/or for transmitting a reference to a database having said position data. The radio device may be based on a Bluetooth low energy standard.
