    摘要: While receiving content from a source via a first connection, a receiver determines the connection is interrupted, selects an alternative source, and continues to receive the content from the alternative source via a second connection. In some implementations, the alternative source may be a server. In implementations, the alternative source may be additional receivers configured in a peer-to-peer arrangement. In various implementations, after the receiver determines that the first connection is interrupted, the receiver may utilize the second connection until finished receiving the content, continue receiving the content utilizing the first connection once no longer interrupted, or determine that the second connection is interrupted and select an additional alternative source to continue receiving the content from via a third connection. In one or more implementations, various components of the broadcast system may assist the receiver in continuing to receive the content from the alternative source via the second connection.

    摘要: An image communication apparatus which can keep any deterioration in picture quality of an image down to the minimum level and which can perform transmission of an image signal of one frame within a predetermined time even in the case where the communication state becomes poor is provided. An imaging module 101 picks up an image of an object to generate an image signal. An image data thinning unit 102 generates an image signal in which data amount is reduced on color space from an image signal which has been generated by the imaging module 101. A communication unit 104 transmits an image signal and receives communication state information indicating a communication state which has been transmitted from the receiving device. A control unit 103 controls the image data thinning unit 102 on the basis of the received communication state information.

    摘要: The disclosure relates to reverse link lower layer assisted video error control. A method may encode video data, form a packet with the encoded video data, and transmit the packet across a wireless channel to an access network. A medium access control (MAC) layer may receive a negative acknowledgement (NAK) from the access network. The method may determine whether the received NAK is associated with a packet that contains video data. If the received NAK is associated with a packet that contains video data, the method may perform error control.
