    摘要: A retractable cable locking device for securing articles with retractable cables includes a housing that has a front, a back, a first side, a second side, a top and a bottom defining an internal space. Shafts, rotationally coupled to and extending between the front and the back, are positioned in the internal space. Cables are extendable from and retractable into the housing through holes positioned in the first side. Each of the cables has a first end coupled to one of the shafts and a second end coupled to a locking hub. Ports, which are complimentary to the locking hubs, and a key lock, which is operationally coupled to the ports, are positioned in the second side. A speaker, a processor and a power module are coupled to and positioned in the housing. The processor is operationally coupled to the power module, the speaker and the key lock.

The locking mechanism is configured to partially lock the spool. The button may be used to move the locking mechanism between locked and unlocked positions. The button may be blocked by inserting a plug into a housing of the device such that the button cannot be activated to unlock the spool. The plug may be secured to the housing through the latch that prevents the unauthorized removal of the plug. For an enhanced locking feature, the latch and the plug may be configured to require at least two forces to move the latch and free the plug. The spool, locking mechanism, and button may be stacked along a common axis to provide a more compacted design.

    摘要: A cylinder lock having a first cylinder half, which in use, is mounted on the indoor side and a second cylinder half, which in use, is mounted on the outdoor side of a door, is disclosed. The cylinder lock further comprises a notch cut out on the outdoor end of the second cylinder half for forming a breakable tip portion on the second cylinder half. A rod extends along the second cylinder half and enters, partly at its first end, in the first cylinder half. The rod is secured, at its second end, to the tip portion of the second cylinder half. The cylinder lock further comprises a volume formed on the first cylinder half for accommodating an alarm circuitry including at least an electronic circuit board, a magnetic switch and a magnet.

    摘要: An electronic security system that would alert a homeowner that someone is attempting to gain access to their home. The system includes a transmitter positionable within a dead bolt housing within a doorjamb of an existing door assembly. The transmitter is engaged when a dead bolt is positioned within the dead bolt housing in a locked orientation. The transmitter emits a signal once the dead bolt is removed from the dead bolt housing. A receiver is in communication with the transmitter. The receiver has an internal alarm enunciator. The receiver receives the signal from the transmitter thereby activating the internal alarm enunciator upon removal of the dead bolt from within the dead bolt housing.
