The case is provided with a lockable cover so as to permit an authorised user to open the cover and operate the door handle. An alarm device can be provided within the case to indicate tampering with the door lock.

摘要： A security device may include a spool, locking mechanism, button, plug, and latch. The spool is configured to either wind or unwind a cable for wrapping around an object. The locking mechanism is configured to partially lock the spool. The button may be used to move the locking mechanism between locked and unlocked positions. The button may be blocked by inserting a plug into a housing of the device such that the button can not be activated to unlock the spool. The plug may be secured to the housing through the latch that prevents the unauthorized removal of the plug. For an enhanced locking feature, the latch and the plug may be configured to require at least two forces to move the latch and free the plug. The spool, locking mechanism, and button may be stacked along a common axis to provide a more compacted design.

The mortise cylinder has a tailpiece on the interior end and is rotatable about an axis. A cam engages the tailpiece on the mortise cylinder to provide selective movement of the cam responsive to rotation of the mortise cylinder. A housing secures the mortise cylinder and cam relative to one another and to a wall or door. A biasing member is disposed between the housing and cam for urging the cam into engagement with the tailpiece of the mortise cylinder, wherein variations in the length of the mortise cylinder can be accommodated.

摘要： An alarmed cable lock that sounds an alarm upon an attempt to open the lock or remove the secured item while the alarm is armed. The invention includes a lock, a cable, a power source and an alarm. The lock includes a C-channel closed at one end, a switch, and a blocking pin. The cable is attached at one end to the lock. The free end of the cable terminates in a head that is formed to slide in the C-channel. The switch is exposed in the C-channel. When the lock is armed, the blocking pin extends into the C-channel to prevent the free end of the cable from sliding out of the open C-channel end. If an attempt is made to remove the end of the cable by sliding it out the C-channel, the head passes by the switch and sets off the alarm. The alarm/lock features are operated by remote control.

Furthermore, in accordance with the various requirement, it can also be provided with an anti-invading mechanism, an alarm mechanism sensing the deformation of the door. The lock of the present invention has overcome many disadvantages of the prior lock and give a great deal of safety to users.

The box further having a latch receiving structure, for receiving the latch when the cover of the box is in the closed position, that is integral to the box. The latch being attached to the cover of the box and having a spring for disengaging the latch from the closed position in conjunction with the lock. The latch being capable of actuating at least one of the two switches and the lid of the box being able to actuate the other switch when either the lock or the lid of the box is tampered with. The lock being positioned to contact the latching means so that the latching means actuates at least one of the switches.
