    摘要: A vertically oriented float assisted automatic driptrap mechanism having a float valve chamber defined by a body section and base is disclosed. A float is located for vertical liquid level responsive movement within the float valve chamber and reciprocates within a valve stem float guide. A diffuser is provided at the inlet of the chamber to prevent impingement of incoming fluid on the float. The valve stem guide also serves as a filter support for a filter which filters out contaminants that might interfere with the valving action of the driptrap mechanism. A valve seat having a tapered seat surface and a self-positioning valve plug movably supported by the valve stem and having a differently tapered sealing surface establish line contact sealing to ensure effective valve operation under high pressure conditions.

    摘要: A gas pressure regulator for regulating the output pressure of a gas from a pressurized gas cylinder includes a flashback assembly disposed at the gas outlet of the pressure regulator. The flashback assembly includes three primary components as follows: a porous metal flashback arrestor, a retainer, and a check valve sub-assembly. In the preferred embodiment, the porous metal flashback arrestor is mounted on one end of the retainer and the check valve sub-assembly is disposed within the retainer adjacent the metal flashback arrestor. The flashback assembly can be easily removed and replaced. The porous metal flashback arrestor is designed to reduce the possibility of migration of a flashback upstream from the torch and hose into the pressure regulator. The check valve sub-assembly is designed to reduce the possibility of reverse flow of gas upstream from the hose into the pressure regulator.

    摘要: A combination noise suppressor and air filter fits closely around a pressure regulator for milking machines, in such tight-fitting sealed relationship that little or no air or dirt can enter except through a relatively large diameter washable air filter which can be removed and cleaned even while the milking machine is running. The air passing inwardly through such filter also passes through the bars of a cage which support the filter against collapse. A noise suppressor, formed of a laminate of rigid and soft synthetic resin, is provided, and has apertures therethrough through which air passes downwardly after entering through the air filter. After thus passing downwardly, the air is in a chamber that contains the inlet ports of the pressure regulator portion of the combination, the upper wall of the chamber having convolutions which cooperate with sound-absorbing side and bottom walls of the chamber to absorb sound that is generated when air enters into the regulator. Any sound escaping through the apertures in the suppressor is largely absorbed by a sound-absorbing wall at the upper region of the apparatus.

    摘要: A fuel delivery system that includes a fuel pump having an inlet for drawing fuel from a fuel supply and an outlet connected to a fuel filter so that fuel delivered to the engine by the pump flows through the filter. A check valve is positioned between the filter outlet and the fuel line to the engine so as to prevent reverse flow of fuel from the engine to the supply when the pump is shut down. A pressure reference inlet connected to the outlet side of the fuel filter on the downsream side of the check valve. The outlet of the pressure regulator is connected to return fuel to the fuel supply bypassing the filter as a function of fuel pressure at the filter so as to maintain substantially constant fuel pressure delivery to the engine. The reference input to the pressure regulator is connected to the engine fuel line. Any fuel pressure increase at the engine and in the fuel line due to heat or the like automatically opens the regulator so as to vent the pump outlet to the supply.

    摘要: A steering force control apparatus for a power steering system includes a hydraulic path, a branch path, and a cylindrical filter. The hydraulic path extends from a pump to a power steering side. The branch path has one end open to a wall midway along the hydraulic path and extends to a hydraulic reaction mechanism. The cylindrical filter is adjacent to the wall of the hydraulic path and has a mesh portion for filtering a pressurized oil. The mesh portion is formed at a portion of the cylindrical filter at which the hydraulic path communicates with the branch path. The portion of the filter at which the hydraulic path communicates with the branch path has a tapered stepped portion mechanically formed at the downstream side of the branch path. The cylindrical filter has upper and lower ring frame members to be fitted in the hydraulic path. The lower ring frame member is formed to have an outer diameter smaller than that of the upper ring frame member. The lower ring frame member has a tapered portion which is formed at a bottom portion of the lower ring frame member so as to be inclined inwardly in accordance with the tapered stepped portion of the hydraulic path, and a small-diameter portion extending from the tapered portion to the downstream side thereof.

    摘要: A pico fuel injector valve (10) adapted to be received in an injector socket provided in an air intake manifold (12) of an internal combustion engine having an integral fuel rail (14). The fuel injector valve has a magnetically permeable cylindrical housing (26) having radial inlet ports (24) and an armature guide bore (32). A valve seat member (40) having an outlet port and a valve seat (48) is attached to the end of the cylindrical housing (26) having the guide bore. An orifice plate (56) having a calibrated orifice is disposed in an orifice plate recess (50) provided in the face of the valve seat member (40). A stator (76) disposed in the cylindrical housing has an axially disposed pole member (78) and a radial flange (80) attached to the other end of the cylindrical housing. A solenoid coil is wound directly around the pole member (78). An armature (34) is reciprocally disposed in the guide bore (32) and has a valve element provided on the face adjacent to the valve seat, a single annular seal (90) disposed intermediate the inlet ports (24) and the soleoid coil (86) is the only internal seal of the pico fuel injector valve. Electrical connection to the solenoid coil (86) is made through a pair of electrical terminals (94) extending external to the rear end of the pico fuel injector valve through the stator's radial flange (80).

By means of an engagement, the stop valve is coupled with a cap which is fitted to a body of the filter apparatus by thread-engagement. When the cap is removed from the body for replacement of the filter element, the stop valve rotates together with the cap to close an inlet port of the filter apparatus. On the other hand, when the cap is fitted to the filter apparatus, the stop valve directs the fluid into the filter apparatus since an opening provided in the stop valve coincides with the inlet port because of rotation of the stop valve.
