    摘要: A process for integrating and permanently conserving an oil painting on canvas first eliminates stresses in the paint film induced by the original canvas by breaking down the weave of the canvas through physical abrasion or other means for severing the loops without damaging the paint film. The stress relieving step is followed by integrating the paint film, the original ground layer, remnants of old canvas, and a new dimensionally stable backing layer of material having an estimated life comparable to the expected life of the paint film. Integration is accomplished by means of a liquid coherant that cures to a permanent flexible material that provides a continuous bond between the paint film and the new backing layer. The coherant has a life expectancy comparable to that of the backing layer, with no deleterious physical or chemical effects on the paint film.

    摘要: A diaphragm for producing sound includes a laminated structure having at least one layer of a first fabric and at least two layers of second fabrics. The first fabric is woven from filament yarns including at least partly chemical fiber yarns of a low elongation. Each of the second fabrics is woven from filament yarns made of a chemical fiber of a high elongation. The layer of the first fabric and the layers of the second fabrics are disposed in such a manner that warps of the first fabric and warps of the second fabric cross each other at an angle of 10.degree. to 80.degree., whereby an elongation of the diaphragm in a direction of the warps of the first fabric is generally equal to an elongation of the diaphragm in a direction inclined at an angle of 45.degree. relative to the direction of the warps of the first fabric.

    摘要: A load-bearing composite material structure (2, 2') has a plurality of layers of composite material. Each layer includes a matrix material (4) that maintains its structural integrity at 1200.degree. F. for at least five minutes. Preferred matrix materials are polyimide resins. Outer layers that will be directly exposed to a fire are reinforced with a woven fabric (8) that is sufficiently flame resistant and has a sufficiently fine weave to prevent flame penetration at 2000.degree. F. for at least fifteen minutes. The woven fabric (8) is preferably ceramic. The rest of the layers are reinforced with a fibrous material (6) to provide the necessary structural strength. The layers may be laminate cured together to form a single, integral structure (2) or such laminates adhesively bonded to a honeycomb (12).

    摘要: A heat-resistant resin composition suitable for use in multilayer super high density printed circuit boards, comprising a polyaminobismaleimide, a polyepoxy compound, and an aromatic vinyl copolymer containing as structural unit maleic anhydride and/or an alkyl maleate. This resin composition is excellent in thermal resistance and dimensional stability, which are important properties of a resin composition for practical use in lamination, and when used in lamination, exhibits favorable flow and curing properties so that it can be easily and economically processed under conventional laminating conditions. When used as a multilayer printed circuit board material, it is also characterized by excellent adhesion to a copper foil, particularly in bonding an inner circuit copper foil to the board. Although particularly suitable for use in multilayer printed circuit boards of numerous layers (eight or more layers) bearing highly packed circuits and as an interlayer adhesive sheet, the present resin composition can be used in general heat-resistant printed circuit boards and in general heat-resistant structural laminates.
