    摘要： The mechanical machining center is associated with a magazine for the tools in which the tools are collected in two horizontal rows superposed on vertical frames (pallets) transportable by means of a rotatable handling device from the magazine to a position in which an exchange arm withdraws the tools and brings them to the spindle of the working head. The magazine is composed of a fixed structure with a variable number of modules disposed in the form of a fan around the rotatable handling device and in which the pallets complete with tools are accommodated. The pallets may be transported manually or with the aid of wire-guided trolleys from a central magazine to each module. The handling device comprises a rotatable carousel structure on which two cage-like frames for supporting the pallets are pivoted in diametrically opposed position.Normally, one of the two frames is in a loading position, while the other frame is in an exchange position close to the exchanger arm. The frame in the loading position can rotate on the structure of the handling device to align itself with each module of the magazine. Each cage-like frame is provided with a chain-type loading device for withdrawing a pallet of tools from the magazine of for carrying a pallet of used tools back to the magzazine. In exchanging position each frame is movable to bring the desired tool into correspondence with the exchange arm.

    摘要： A machining centre has a tool-storage magazine in the form of an endless track along which a series of carriages is slidable. Each carriage releasably carries a tool holder. A portion of the track at a tool-change station is movable, and forms part of a toolchange arm that is movable between a position in which the movable portion completes the track, and another position in which the carriage in the movable portion is located at the spindle. Means is provided for releasing the tool holder from the carriage when it reaches the spindle. The carriages are driven along the track by contact with each other, the train of carriages being driven by a toothed wheel engaging rollers on the carriages. Another portion of the track is movable on a guide to a tool substitution station located at a place conveniently accessible to an operator.

    摘要： A machining center is provided with a cutter depot structure comprising a cutter socket, a cutter disk, and a round machine frame. The cutter socket is rotatably mounted on the periphery of the cutter disk by a retaining pin which is put through an L-shaped rod of the cutter socket. The L-shaped rod is provided with a roller. The cutter disk is provided with an annular stop surface. The round machine frame is provided with a wearproof annular pad having a cut. The cutter socket in motion is confined by the stop surface of the cutter disk and the annular pad of the machine frame such that the cutter socket is kept in the horizontal state. The cutter socket is turned on the retaining pin to facilitate the inverting of the cutter, thereby resulting in reduction in length of a cutter exchanging arm.

The machine tool includes a main frame, a main spindle head movably provided to the main frame, a main spindle rotatably disposed in the main spindle head, the main spindle head being movable in an axial direction of the main spindle, and a tool magazine provided with a rotatable magazine base for holding a plurality of tool holders and for rotationally indexing one of the tool holders, whereby the one of rotationally indexed tool holder is changed by a tool holder provided at the main spindle. The automatic tool changer comprises; a plurality of tool holder gripping means radially arranged on and pivotably supported to the magazine base, the tool magazine being secured to a stationary portion of the main frame, and means for pivotting one of the tool holder gripping means rotationally indexed independent of remaining tool holder gripping means. The pivotting means moves the one of tool holder gripping means toward and away from the main spindle, and the pivotting means moves the one of tool holder gripping means away from the main spindle when the main spindle head is moved for machining to a workpiece.
