The major component has a generally cylindrical peripheral section. A tangential extension is provided. The aperture constitutes an outlet. The housing also includes a minor component. The minor component has a planar section. The planar section has an aperture. The aperture constitutes an outlet. A tangential extension is adapted to overlie the major component for creating a chamber. A rotatable assembly includes an annular plate. The annular plate has an aperture. Spaced impeller segments are provided. A propeller is also provided. The propeller has an axial bore. Propeller blades are provided. Openings are provided between the blades. The bore is adapted to receive a drive shaft of a motor. In this manner the propeller and the annular plate and the impeller segments are rotated.

Abstract:
A tandem axial turbine comprises a front, confusor funnel-shaped runner having inner blades and capable of accelerating and directing an oncoming flow toward a co-axial rear runner which rotates in an opposite direction. A tangential turbine has a hub, blades capable of rotating in relation to the hub between positions across and along the flow, and a propulsion springs for controlling the movement of the blades in relation to the hub and the transfer of the energy. A second tangential turbine comprises a runner having a hub and blades and a shroud capturing the runner from above and around and permitting the blades to dip into water flowing immediately below the hub and an opening of the shroud. A surface vessel comprises a stabilized frame rotatably affixed on a vessel hull about a center of wave induced rocking motions of the vessel and therefore isolated from a rocking motion of the vessel.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a liquid pump for use with a fluid circulation system for a recreational water body. The liquid pump includes a strainer housing, a pump housing assembly secured to the strainer housing, and a lock ring fastened to the pump housing assembly. The pump housing assembly includes an outlet that is rotatable between a first position and a second position and further includes an annular protuberance defining an inlet. The strainer housing includes an outlet, and the annular protuberance extends through the outlet of the strainer housing into a chamber thereof. A clip is positioned within the chamber and releasably secures the annular protuberance so as to inhibit inadvertent disengagement of the strainer housing from the pump housing assembly.
Abstract:
A cooling fan drive apparatus with an integrated filter comprises a gear motor contained within a housing that includes internal passages through which hydraulic fluid can flow and structure configured to receive a filter such that the filter forms an integral part of the apparatus.
Abstract:
A hydrogen circulation pump including a liquid receptacle arranged in a discharge pipe extending upward from a housing or a discharge port arranged in the housing. The liquid receptacle extends along the entire circumference of the inner surface of the discharge pipe or the discharge port. Fine holes far circulating unreacted gas are formed in a bottom portion of the liquid receptacle. A water repellent film formed from a water repellent material is arranged on an upper surface of the bottom portion of the liquid receptacle.
Abstract:
A rotary pump includes an impeller mounted on a shaft (12) supported for rotation in bearings. A bearing and bearing casing assembly (26) proximate the impeller is prone to ingress of undesirable matter. A shield assembly (40) includes the shaft (12) and a shield (40) rotatable with the shaft and positioned intermediate the impeller and the bearing assembly (26). The shield comprises an integral, moulded, disc (42) and composite rim (44), which includes a lip (50) having an inwardly proud beading (52) normally touching an outer periphery (34.1) of the bearing assembly. A cowl (48) surrounds the lip with clearance when the shaft (12) rotates. The beading (52) dilates under centrifugal force to provide running clearance.
Abstract:
The axial gap (30) between a turbofan section (18) in a turbofan aircraft engine (10) is enlarged so that foreign matter thrown radially outwardly by the fan blades (48) will travel vectors (52, 54) which are located forwardly of the forward boundary (28) of the splitter wall (26). This results in the foreign matter being expelled through the fan duct (14) the engine (10), preventing it from entering into the engine core (20). Forward extensions (56, 58) of the fan blades can also be used for shifting the vectors (52, 54) forwardly. Smaller forward extensions (56, 58) can be used in combination with a partially widened gap (30) for positioning the vectors (52, 54) forwardly of the splitter wall forward boundary (28).
Abstract:
A kinetic hydro energy conversion system having a turbine for mounting in a hydro energy source, wherein the turbine comprises a rotor having conformal blades and a screen for horizontally deflecting debris from the blades.
Abstract:
A waterwheel assembly for a river or similar body of flowing water includes a waterwheel mounted on a support structure, and one or more buoyant members, wherein waterwheel can move up and down, and the buyout members support part of the weight of the waterwheel so that the waterwheel is able to rise and fall with any change to the river level, and the support structure is secured on land by the river or body of water by means of one or more cantilevered beams. The waterwheel has an axle secured between two vertical posts by means of salable bearings that permit the waterwheel to move up and down.
