摘要: The Remotely Controlled Vehicle Pedal Actuator is a pneumatically powered tool for use in the motor vehicle repair and maintenance industry that enables a mechanic to solely, remotely, and repetitively depress and retract a vehicle accelerator, clutch or brake pedal. The device comprises a pneumatic linear actuator (commonly termed an air cylinder) that is pneumatically connected to a foot, hand or electronically activated pneumatic valve and a pneumatic power source. One end of the actuator is attached to a vehicle steering wheel with the opposite end attached to the vehicle accelerator, clutch or brake pedal. Activating the pneumatic valve pressurizes the actuator causing the actuator rod arm to extend and depress the vehicle pedal. Deactivating the pneumatic valve depressurizes the actuator causing the actuator rod arm to withdraw and retract the vehicle pedal.

摘要: This application relates to a circular clarifier for separating and removing separable matter, such as suspended solids, from a liquid. The invention may be used, for example, for separating return activated sludge from clarified liquor using a gas flotation process. The clarifier includes a plurality of fluid feed ports for introducing influent into selected treatment cells of the clarifier in a timed sequence, thereby achieving batch flotation of solids or other separable matter in a continuous infeed process. A plurality of spaced-apart, rotating flocculent handling assemblies traverse the treatment cells for sequentially conveying flocculent into spaced-apart, radially extending collection troughs. All of the flocculent handling assemblies may be driven by a single drive means. Each flocculent handling assembly includes a submerged beach and a scraper assembly including a scraper blade which extends upwardly from the beach. The beaches provide a shear plane underneath the surface layer of flocculent. The scraper assembly includes means for lifting the scraper blade in the vicinity of a trough to enable the blade to traverse over the trough and then descend to a position in contact with or proximate to a corresponding beach. Methods of using the clarifier to more efficiently handle return activated sludge or other fragile flocculent are also described. The clarifier may be stand-alone or adapted to retrofit existing circular primary or secondary sedimentation clarifiers.

摘要: A magnet type rodless cylinder comprised of cylinder tube of a double tube structure provided with an outside tube of an elliptical flattened outside circumferential shape and two inside tubes inserted into the outside tube. When pressurized air is supplied alternately to the inside tubes from a port provided at an end cap, two pistons move reciprocatingly inside the inside tubes. Due to this reciprocating motion, this reciprocating motion causes reciprocating motion of a slide magnetically coupled with the two pistons at the outside of the outside tube. The inside pressure caused by the pressurized air acts exclusively on the inside tubes and does not directly act on the outside tube of the flattened outside circumferential shape, so the thickness of the outside tube can be reduced and, even if the cylinder tube is made a double tube structure, the total thickness will not become greater than in the past. For this reason, it is possible to provide a practical flattened type of magnetic cylinder with a small height without greatly increasing the magnetic coercive force.

摘要: A pair of stopper members are mounted on shafts of an actuator in such a manner that stopper members sandwich a table. By making the table come into contact with these stopper members, a stop operation and a determination of a stop position of the table are carried out. To be more specific, the stop operation and the determination of the stop position of the table is carried out by using adjusting bolts which are respectively mounted on the stopper members. Furthermore, an impact which occurs when the adjusting bolts and the table come into contact with each other is attenuated by shock absorbers which are respectively mounted on said stopper members.

摘要: A flap is attached to a rear end of a blade so as to be angularly displaceable. Displacement magnifying means magnifies the amount of displacement from an actuator to drive the flap. An input portion to which the displacement is applied from the actuator is expandably and contractibly supported by bellows. Likewise, an output portion to which the input amount of displacement is magnified is expandably and contractibly supported by a bellows. Consequently, displacement magnifying means is realized in which, compared with a existing piston with O ring which slides on the cylinder inner wall, no deterioration in response characteristic due to high friction occurs when the actuator is displaced at high speed, and no fluid leakage due to deterioration or wear of the O ring occurs. According to this structure, a rotor blade flap driving apparatus is obtained which has displacement magnifying means with fast response and no fluid leakage.
