摘要: A method of qualifying physical components using computed tomography (CT) includes obtaining qualified CT data from a CT scanner for at least one qualified physical component. Qualification data is generated based on the qualified CT data, where the qualification data defines a qualification envelope. Candidate CT data is obtained from the CT scanner for a candidate physical component. Comparison data is then generated based on the candidate CT data and the qualification data, where the comparison data indicates whether the candidate CT data is within the qualification envelope defined by the qualification data. An acceptance signal is generated if the comparison data meets acceptance criteria.

摘要: An x-ray inspection system comprising an x-ray source, an x-ray detector, a sample support comprising a pliable material and a sample support positioning assembly configured to position the sample support between the x-ray source and the x-ray detector. The sample support is configured to removably clamp a sample for inspection in a fixed position with respect to the sample support and configured so that, in use, at least one surface of the sample is in contact with the pliable material. The sample support positioning assembly comprises a rotational drive configured to rotate the sample support about a rotational axis. This allows the sample to be rotated about a rotational axis such that a series of two-dimensional images can be captured by the x-ray detector that can be used to create a three-dimensional reconstruction of the sample.

The method includes: providing data from an X-ray scan of the part; processing the scan data to obtain an original 3D or 2D model of a surface or interface topology of the part; and filtering the original 3D or 2D model of the surface or interface topology to identify deviations from the expected surface or interface topology of the part. The identified deviations may be produced by surface or interface defects on the part.

摘要: Techniques including methods, apparatus and computer program products are disclosed. These techniques include computer instructions that are encoded on computer storage media for determining wettability. The techniques use a numerical aging computation process to provide a representation of a wettability alteration of a physical rock sample in the presence of at least two fluids is disclosed. The techniques include retrieving a representation of a physical rock sample, the representation including pore space and grain space data corresponding to the physical rock sample, calculating local curvature for each surface in the pore space, determining from the calculated local curvature whether water-film breakage will occur, and classifying the wettability of the physical rock based on the determination of water-film breakage.

摘要: A calculation method for a dual-energy X-ray imaging system is provided. The calculation method for the dual-energy X-ray imaging system includes the following steps. A plurality of material attenuation coefficient ratio of the dual-energy projection image are established according to the reference materials with known material characteristics. The effective atomic number of each reference material and the material attenuation coefficient ratio are used to establish a calibration data set. A rational polynomial approximation method is adopted to obtain the characteristic model related to the material attenuation coefficient ratio of the reference material and the effective atomic number of the reference material. The material attenuation coefficient ratio of the dual-energy projection image of unknown material is established. The material attenuation coefficient ratio of the unknown material is substitute into the characteristic model to obtain the effective atomic number corresponding to the unknown material.

A CT image is generated based on a plurality of the X-ray images that are acquired after a rotation speed of the motor reaches a fixed speed.
