摘要： An electrical connector (2) has a dielectric housing with contact terminals (22) which extend therethrough. The contact terminals (22) are provided to electrically connect a mother board (4) to a daughter card (6). A board-receiving opening (20) is provided in the housing for reception of the daughter card (6) therein. Proximate to the board-receiving opening (20) are latch receiving openings (24) which are dimensioned to receive insertable latch members (40) therein. The latch members (40) are manufactured from material having the desired resilient and strength characteristics, thereby insuring that the latch members (40) will be effective over many cycles. Each latch member (40) has a resilient section (42) for cooperating with the daughter card (6) and a mounting section (44) for cooperating with the mother board (4). The resilient section (42) is able to accommodate a range of board sizes without taking a permanent set. If required the latch members (40) can have enhanced electrical characteristics so that the power and ground connections between the mother board (4) and the daughter card (6) can be made through the latch members (40).

摘要： A housing for an electrical connector is described which may be utilized in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. The housing defines openings extending generally parallel to each other such that the openings open through a first side of the housing. Contact pins are inserted into the openings in the housing such that a contact tail portion extends beyond the plane of the first side of the housing. The housing may also provide apertures in an opposite side to facilitate insertion of the contact tails of a device to be joined to the connector. First and second rows of bosses are formed on the housing such that they extend beyond the plane of the housing's first side.

摘要： The invention relates to a device for ensuring the mechanical and electrical connection of an automobile headlamp, comprising at least one flat connecting pin, to a flexible printed supply circuit, said device comprising, for each pin of the lamp to be connected, a clip constituted by two homologous parts connected by a hinge and adapted to cooperate with each other along a plane of tightening, these two homologous parts comprising on their inner face means for positioning the pin inside the clip, means for retaining the printed circuit inside the clip, means for closing the clip ensuring its tightening so that the printed circuit is applied along the whole length of the pin of the lamp. The invention is more particularly applied to all automobile headlamps.

摘要： A conductive sheet-metal clip, to be soldered onto a chip of integrated circuitry, has two prongs interconnected at a base which forms a seat for an edge of the chip fitted between these prongs, one prong being rigid while the other is weakened near the base so as to be resiliently deformable in the plane of the clip. One prong has a pair of projections engaging the chip at two points, near its free end and near the base, whereas the other prong has a projection bearing upon the chip at a point about midway between the first two points. A terminal tab extends from the base in the region of the rigid prong.

摘要： A sealed connector for the connection of multi-core cables to printed circuit boards has an insulating support provided with a row of curved projections upon which individual deformable contact strips connected to or forming part of the cable conductors are deformed. These projections engage in a row of openings in a rigid insulating body which fits over the support, so that the deformed contact strips are level with or protrude through the upper surface of the body, on which the printed circuit board is clamped by a spring clip to effect connection with contact zones thereon. A deformable seal being interposed between the circuit board and the body to seal the connections.
