    摘要: To access to a multimedia service designated by a call number in a mobile terminal connected to a radio communication network, a server predefines a correspondence table comprising call numbers associated with respective service identifiers and transmit it to the mobile terminal which stores it. When a call number is entered and confirmed by a channel seizing key in the terminal, an application determines the service identifier associated with the call number in the table and requests the setting up of a call with a server providing a multimedia service as a function of the determined service identifier. The call number can be transmitted to the server in order for the server to transmit a confirmation message comprising the call number or an address associated with the call number in order for the application to request the setting up of a call.

    摘要: The present invention provides a central terminal (10), and method of operation of such a central terminal (10), for managing calls between a telephone exchange (500) connectable to the central terminal (10) and a plurality of subscriber terminals (520), the central terminal being arranged to communicate with the subscriber terminals (520) via wireless links (515).     摘要: Billing records for call attempts directed to an inbound subscriber are sorted by originating telephone number, date and time of day in order to group together a) sequences of call attempts initiated at each telephone number, and b) corresponding disposition for each call attempt in that sequence. When the billing records indicate that all call attempts initiated from an originating telephone number have been unavailing (blocked calls, ring-no-answer), a caller associated with that telephone number is deemed "lost" with respect to a selected time window. The number of lost callers within a predetermined period of time is then used to determine the desirability of committing additional resources to a call center.

    摘要: An agent at home (12) is enabled to receive a call from a customer (14), originally directed to a transaction-processing center (16), by first identifying, at an exchange (20) of a public switched telephone network (22), the identity of the transaction-processing center and the agent(s) designated to receive calls directed to that center. Once the agent (12) has been identified, the call is routed from a first local exchange carrier central office (18) serving the customer to a local exchange carrier central office (26) serving the agent and then to the agent across a combined voice and data line (44). Upon receipt of the call, the agent simultaneously establishes a data link with the transaction-processing center so as to complete a transaction for the customer.

    摘要: In a digital fluorography system a television (TV) camera converts X-ray images to analog video signals that are converted to digital pixel words in an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The sync signals for the TV camera and the sample clock signals for the ADC are derived from a novel resettable crystal controlled sync generator. A phase-locked loop provides an ac reference signal at one-half power line frequency which is equivalent to TV frame rate. The sync generator is reset to start a new frame and an ensuing sequence of crystal controlled horizontal sync pulses only in response to occurrence of ac reference signals so every frame is in registration. A digital video processor (DVP) subtracts a mask image from each image in a sequence of images that are acquired while an X-ray contrast medium is appearing in and disappearing from a blood vessel. The resulting difference images are stored in analog video signal format in an analog video disk recorder. The DVP and, hence the horizontal and vertical sync signals recorded on disk for each frame are also locked to the ac reference signal and are independent of sync signals from the crystal controlled oscillator. A novel digital storage FIFO buffer system couples the digitized pixel data from the ADC to the DVP and compensates for the timing differences between them. During image reprocessing wherein recorded difference images are subtracted from a selected difference or substitute mask image, the sample clock for the ADC is derived from a phase-locked loop that is locked to the recorded horizontal sync signals so the sample clock is varied in correspondence with or modulated by the recorded sync signals.

    摘要: Frequency doubled television receiver horizontal deflection frequency signals are divided in a divide-by-525 counter to produce pulses at the vertical deflection rate. The five hundred twentieth pulse of each 525 pulse series is used to enable a bistable multivibrator which produces an enabling signal on an ''''and'''' gate. The five hundred twenty-fifth pulse of each 525 pulse series produces a resetting signal on an ''''or'''' gate. The fifth pulse of each 525 pulse series removes the enabling signal from the output terminal of the bistable multivibrator thereby inhibiting the and gate. The vertical sync pulse appearing between the five hundred twentieth pulse of each 525 pulse series and the fifth pulse of the next succeeding 525 pulse series passes through the enabled and gate and synchronizes the operation of the vertical deflection circuit. The vertical deflection sync pulse is also coupled to the or gate to reset the divide-by-525 counter and synchronize its operation to the incoming vertical sync.
