摘要： Systems and methods for real-time transmission of data streams are disclosed. A controller receives data representing selected stream parameters from a browser residing on a computing device. The controller transmits the received data to a video transmitting device. A transcoder receives a first data stream generated according to the selected stream parameters from the video transmitting device. The transcoder generates a second data stream from the first data stream, the second data stream formatted for browser display; and then transmits the second data stream to the browser. A user may remotely control the video transmitting device using the browser. A user may view data streams from multiple video transmitting devices using the browser.

The contextual data elements include a text summary, a visual summary, keywords and/or keyphrases, paragraphs, chapters, index tables, questions, analytics, emotions and insights for the content of the multimedia. Further, the method includes displaying the contextual data elements to the user. The user uses the contextual data elements to navigate within the multimedia/across multiple multimedia.

In some embodiments, a live video stream may be loaded on a user interface for presentation to a user. A user selection related to a frame of the live video stream may be received via the user interface during the presentation of the live video stream on the user interface, where the user selection indicates a presence of a concept in the frame of the live video stream. In response to the user selection related to the frame, an association of at least a portion of the frame of the live video stream and the concept may be generated, and the neural network or other prediction model may be trained based on the association of at least the portion of the frame with the concept.

The status information was included in a first instance of a media presentation description for a first set of segments of a stream of a media presentation and identified a break from the stream of the media presentation for insertion of supplemental content. The method uses the first status information to identify supplemental content for the client. A second instance of the media presentation description is sent for at least a portion of the supplemental content. The second instance of the media presentation description includes second status information that reverts the client back to the stream of the media presentation after insertion of the supplemental content.

One exemplary method of assisted streaming of media content over a network involves detecting, by a media player at a client device coupled to the network, a first condition with respect to streaming the media content, and in response to the first condition, requesting, by the media player, a first portion of the media content from a first content delivery source on the network. After requesting the first portion of the media content, the method further comprises detecting, by the media player, a second condition with respect to streaming the media content, and in response to detecting the second condition, requesting, by the media player, a subsequent portion of the media content from a second content delivery source on the network. The first content delivery source transmits the media content using a modified transport layer protocol.
