Abstract:
A method for transporting harvested crops from a field includes the step of providing a conveyor belt disposed adjacent a plurality of crops (such as alongside a row of crops or in-between rows). The conveyor belt has a spool attached thereto about which the conveyor belt can be wound. A winder is provided and has an attachment for receiving the spool. The spool is attached to the winder and, when crops being harvested are disposed on the conveyor belt, the winder is used to wind the conveyor belt around the spool, thereby transporting crops to the winder.
Abstract:
A plate link chain in the form of a conveyor chain comprising at least two chain strands that are disposed parallel to one another and are comprised of a sequence of inner plate members and outer plate members, wherein the inner plate members are provided with openings for receiving at least one sleeve for connecting the inner plate members of oppositely disposed chain strands, wherein the outer plate members are provided with openings aligned with the openings of the inner plate members to receive a link pin that extends through the sleeve and is fixed on the outer plate members, and wherein the inner plate members are comprised of at least two individual plates, one of which, of at least the inner plate members of one chain strand, is provided with angle brackets for the mounting of further chain components.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for connecting the belt ends (9, 10) of transport belts (1) using a closure aid (13) that comprises a plurality of closure aid elements (14, 15) that are fastened at a distance from one another in the region of the two belt ends (9, 10) in such a way that they link the belt ends (9, 10), the closure aid elements (14, 15) having tensioning elements (23) that pull the belt ends (9, 10) toward one another, and the belt ends (9, 10) then being connected to one another by means of coupling elements (11, 12) and the closure aid (13) then being removed from the transport belt (1). Lashing straps (14, 15) having a lashing mechanism (23) are used as closure aid elements, actuation thereof reducing the distance between the belt ends (9, 10).The invention further concerns a transport belt (1) having coupling elements (11, 12) mounted on its front belt ends (9, 10), and a closure aid (13) for temporary connection of the front belt ends (9, 10) of the transport belt (1).
Abstract:
A container transport system for transport of an article, in particular a baggage item, includes a container for receiving an article, with the container made of flame-resistant, wear-resistant and translucent plastic material which is stable in shape. The container has an underside which is formed with touch surfaces extending in a transport direction by which the container is advanced by a conveyor between a receiving end and a discharge end. The conveyor is provided with a guiding and/or driving engagement assembly for cooperation with the touch surfaces of the container.
Abstract:
A belt conveyor having a first belt core, a reinforcing band on a lower surface of the first belt core, a second belt core on a lower surface of the reinforcing band so that the reinforcing band is arranged between the first belt core and the second belt core, and a rubber casing that surrounds the belt cores with the reinforcing band therebetween. The reinforcing band includes a plurality of wefts made of a rigid cord. The wefts are spaced from one another and extend transversely to a length of the belt so as to be substantially straight. The reinforcing band further has a plurality of warps each respectively woven with the plurality of wefts so as to form a mechanical woven structure. Each of the warps is tied together with each of the wefts by at least one respective knot in the warps at each of the wefts.
