    Abstract: An airbag device equipped in a vehicle seat. The vehicle seat has a structure in which a seat frame is arranged with left and right sides inside the seat back. The airbag device according to the present invention includes: an inflator that is secured to the side of the seat frame of the vehicle seat and an airbag that is stowed inside the seat back in an elongated and compressed state and is expanded and deployed by the expansion gas discharged from the inflator. The airbag in the stowed state is arranged along the seat frame, and includes a lower portion area lower than the inflator and an upper portion area above the inflator. The lower portion area is arranged inside the seat frame, and the upper portion area is arranged outside the seat frame.

    Abstract: An airbag device mounted on a steering wheel of a vehicle having a rim with a shape in which a distance from the center of rotation to an upper edge part is shorter than a distance to the left and right edge parts, including: a gas generator secured to the steering wheel and for generating expansion gas; and an airbag cushion that expands and deploys toward an occupant side by the expansion gas. The airbag cushion has a vent hole for exhausting the expansion gas. Furthermore, when an occupant comes into contact with the expanded and deployed airbag cushion, the airbag cushion deforms toward the front of the vehicle, and when a portion of an upper region of the airbag cushion advances more forward than the rim of the steering wheel, the vent hole is provided at a position that is blocked by contacting an automobile interior component.

    Abstract: An airbag cushion including a cushion rear portion on the inner side of a frame side plate part, a cushion folded portion folded to the outer side of the frame side plate part, and a cushion front portion on the outer side of the frame side plate part. A cover enveloping portion of a cover member has a first end portion engaged with the cushion rear portion and a second end portion that covers a front surface of the cushion folded portion to the cushion front portion and is engaged with a back surface of the cushion folded portion.     Abstract: The present invention relates to a belt retractor comprising a belt shaft which is rotatably mounted in a housing and onto which a safety belt can be wound, the housing being able to be fastened to the vehicle, and an electric motor for driving the belt shaft to move rotationally, and a gear mechanism transmitting the rotational movement from the electric motor to the belt shaft, wherein the gear mechanism can be driven as an assembly in a first force-transmission path to drive the belt shaft with a first torque, and the gear mechanism can be driven to drive the belt shaft with a second torque, by shifting a speed-controlled and/or torque-controlled coupling, whereby a second force-transmission path is opened, wherein the coupling has at least one coupling element which is spring-loaded by a spring into engagement in a first part of the gear mechanism.
