Abstract:
A quick image capture system for a notebook computer able to capture the images while the notebook computer does not launch an operation system is described. The quick image capture system includes a hot key, a read-only memory, a central processing unit, a chip set, a random-access memory, a video module and a camera module. The read-only memory stores a driving software. When the hot key is triggered, the central processing unit reads the driving software from the read-only memory and executes the driving software so as to enable the video module, display and the camera module by the chip set.
Abstract:
An optical zoom lens module including a base, a first lens holder, a first tracking controller, a first lens, a second lens holder, a second tracking controller, and a second lens is provided. The base has a main shaft, a secondary shaft, and an opening. The first and second lens holders having a first and a second fixing portion disposed to the secondary shaft are disposed on the base. The first and second tracking controllers covering each other and connected to the first and the second lens holders cover the main shaft. The first lens is disposed on the first lens holder and above the opening. The second lens is disposed on the second lens holder and between the first lens and the opening. The first and second tracking controllers are suitable for moving along the main shaft to adjust the relative distance between the first and the second lens.
Abstract:
A memory disk structure includes a storage device, a hollow casing, an elastic member and a base. The storage device has a connector and a main body. The connector is installed in one end of the main body. The hollow casing has an opening and a recess with a protrusion. The elastic member and the base are attached to the main body, and the base has an engagement portion. When the connector passes through the opening of the hollow casing to make connector pushed into the hollow casing, the elastic member is deformed to make the engagement portion wedge in the recess and against the protrusion, and when the body is pushed into the hollow casing and the connector is exposed outside the hollow casing, the elastic member is fastened at the first recess to prevent the storage device from departing from the hollow casing.
Abstract:
A portable storage device is provided. A housing has a first opening and a second opening. A storage body has a connector and a pair of positional restriction structures. The storage body slides in the housing to make the connector extend outside the housing or hide in the housing via the first opening. A pair of actuating arms is provided in the housing and can swing. An actuating structure is partially exposed outside the housing via the second opening and pivotally connected to the pair of actuating arms. An elastic element is connected to the actuating structure and the storage body, so that the elastic element pushes the storage body and drives the actuating arms to return to the original position to block the positional restriction structures.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and computer system capable of presenting program graphics user interface on the title bar of a window. The method includes the following steps. First whether a new operating window is established is determined; if it is yes, whether the new operating window conforms to a predefined window type is determined; if it is yes, and the new operating window includes a title bar and a coordinate location relative to the desktop, a target location relative to the desktop is calculated according to the coordinate location of the operating window; then, a program graphics user interface window is established; the program graphics user interface is located at the target location on the desk, wherein the program graphics user interface window is an individual independent of the operating window.
Abstract:
A data updating method for an Internet map service platform and a system thereof are applied to an electronic device. The electronic device is linked to an Internet map service platform by a wire or wireless network, and the Internet map server platform has a plurality of map data. The method includes the following steps: logining the map service platform; getting a piece of map data of a present location from the map service platform; recording a piece of route data including GPS locus of the present location; comparing the gotten map data with the route data to find whether they have a difference; and uploading the route data having the difference to the map service platform.
Abstract:
A handheld electronic device of the present invention including a body, a display portion, and a connection portion. The connection portion connects the body and the display portion such that the display portion can slide on the body and pivot relative to the body. The connection portion includes a hinge and two plates. The hinge is disposed in a recess on the body. The first plate is connected with the display portion. The second plate is connected with the first plate in a sliding method. One edge of the second plate is fixed on the hinge. When the display portion exposes the hinge, the display portion is able to pivot relative to the body.
Abstract:
A portable computer is disclosed. A triple-hinged supporting assembly, which is employed to connect a display unit with a mainframe unit in the portable computer, can easily change various operation positions of the display unit and even rotate 180° to horizontal, so as to fill different requirements of a user.
Abstract:
A multi-processor system and a performance adjustment method thereof are disclosed. The multi-processor system includes a first processing unit and a second processing unit, the performance adjustment method includes: first, detecting the load of each processing unit to obtain corresponding detected data; then, determining whether one of the processing units has the most load; finally, if the first processing unit has the most load, increasing the power supply to the first processing unit.
Abstract:
A computer system and a method for calculating straightness of facial are provided. In the method, an image is processed to obtain a facial area and eyes locations. The facial area is divided into two sub-areas. Then, each of the sub-area and the corresponding symmetric image thereof are coupled together to form two reference images. Finally, the characteristic values of the facial area and two of the reference images are used for calculating the straightness of the facial area based on the principle of facial symmetry. As a result, the judgment on the straightness of the facial in an image can be more correct and objective, and the situation of taking an image with a tilted angle of facial can be avoided.
