Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. In detail, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus for acquiring system information by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: acquiring time and frequency synchronization from a synchronization channel; performing PBCH detection in a wireless frame on the basis of the time and frequency synchronization; and acquiring the system information from the PBCH, wherein, when the terminal is a non-MTC terminal, the PBCH detection is performed by a singular sub frame in the wireless frame, and when the terminal is an MTC terminal, the PBCH detection is performed by a plurality of sub frames in the wireless frame.

Abstract: A method and a user equipment (UE) for transmitting an uplink (UL) signal in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation are discussed. The UE is configured with a plurality of cells. A first cell and a second cell operate in time division duplex (TDD) and have different TDD uplink-downlink (UL-DL) configurations. The method according to an embodiment includes determining a specific TDD UL-DL configuration having a smallest number of D subframes from among one or more TDD UL-DL configurations, each of the one or more TDD UL-DL configurations being configured as a D subframe in each D subframe of the first cell and the second cell, the D subframe indicating a downlink (DL) subframe or a subframe comprising a downlink period, a guard period, and an uplink period; and transmitting a control signal in a UL subframe in response to at least one downlink signal.

Abstract: A method for receiving an Enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel (EPDCCH) from a base station by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. The UE receives a first EPDCCH for a first carrier by monitoring first EPDCCH candidates for the first carrier in a specific physical resource block (PRB) pair set. The UE receives a second EPDCCH for a second carrier by monitoring second EPDCCH candidates for the second carrier in the specific PRB pair set. A position of the second EPDCCH candidates is determined by applying an offset value for the second EPDCCH candidates into a position of the first EPDCCH candidate. The offset value for the second EPDCCH candidates is determined based on a carrier indicator field of the second carrier.

A first set of one or more Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) signals is transmitted within M downlink subframes through the first cell, where M≧1. A second set of zero or more PDSCH signals is transmitted within N downlink subframes through the second cell, where N≧1. The communication apparatus receives acknowledgment information on an uplink subframe, the acknowledgment information including acknowledgment information for the first set and acknowledgment information for the second set.
