Abstract:
Overhead door assemblies having both interlocking and releasable guide assemblies, and guide track assemblies for use with same are disclosed herein. An overhead door track configured in accordance with an embodiment of the invention includes a first side portion spaced apart from a second side portion to define a channel or gap region therebetween. The first side portion has a first guide surface and a first retention surface. Similarly, the second side portion has a second guide surface and a second retention surface. In this embodiment, the first and second guide surfaces diverge outwardly from the gap region in a first direction, and the first and second retention surfaces diverge inwardly from the gap region in a second direction, opposite the first direction. An overhead door configured in accordance with another embodiment of the invention can include a first guide member configured to extend through the gap region and movably engage the first and second retention surfaces, and a second guide member configured to be removably engaged with the first and second guide surfaces.

Provided are cabinets, methods of making the cabinets, and methods of using the cabinets. One embodiment of the cabinet includes an enclosure and at least one horizontally slidable closure panel interconnected to the enclosure with a first fully extendible concealed rail slide assembly mounted proximate the top of the enclosure and a second fully extendible concealed rail slide assembly mounted proximate the bottom of the enclosure. Another embodiment of the cabinet includes an enclosure, at least one enclosure cover plate, at least one horizontally slidable and vertically angularly adjustable closure panel interconnected to the enclosure with a first fully extendible concealed rail slide assembly mounted proximate the top of the at least one enclosure cover plate and a second fully extendible concealed rail slide assembly mounted proximate the bottom of the enclosure or the at least one enclosure cover plate, and an angular adjustment mechanism for vertically tilting the least one horizontally slidable and vertically angularly adjustable closure panel. The cabinets disclosed herein are particularly advantageous for use by non-ambulatory people due to compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility guidelines.
Abstract:
There is provided a slide door structure of a vehicle which has a slide door to slide in a vehicle longitudinal direction at a side of a vehicle body, comprising a center rail which extends in the vehicle longitudinal direction at the side of the vehicle body so as to guide a roller provided at the slide door, and an expansion preventing bracket which is provided at a front end portion of the center rail so as to connect a pair of guide-face portions which face to each other for preventing an expansion of a center-rail end. Accordingly, the expansion of guide-rail end can be prevented in case the outward load acts on the slide door when the slide door is in the closed state.
Abstract:
A roller door system includes one or more sets of rollers configured to mount to a panel frame member on an upper end of a panel, and move through a complementary upper guide. A lower side of the panel frame can also be guided through one or more bottom tracks. These components, when coupled with the resin panel, can provide the ability to provide a smooth gliding motion for the resin panel door. In addition, the frame in which the panel is mounted can be configured with one or more components to accommodate the unique expansion and contraction properties of resin materials, and thus allow a stable, long term mounting solution. The upper guide and the lower track can also be configured with one or more components or mechanisms for pitch adjustment, as well as to adjust for uneven or irregular mounting surfaces.
Abstract:
A window pane for a motor vehicle including plastic for closing a pane opening of a motor vehicle and which is moveable with a window lifter out of the pane opening includes a pane element enclosed by an outer edge and a device provided on the pane element for coupling the window pane to an adjusting mechanism of the window lifter. For coupling the window pane to the adjusting mechanism of the window lifter, a guide region is formed on a surface of the pane element via which the window pane is engageable with a guide device of the adjusting mechanism, displaceable in a direction of adjustment. The guide region forms at least one stop, which counteracts a pivoting of the window pane about an axis extending perpendicular to a plane of the window pane.

Abstract:
By providing a door wherein the components forming a multi-panel unit assembly, a support & alignment mechanism, an automatic actuating panel action locking and release mechanism, sliding mechanism and hinges, a dual action door assembly is achieved which assures component engagement that allows the door assembly to operate within controlled confines combining first a sliding action and then a swing action to open the door for full unobstructed access of a range of doorway widths from narrow to ultra-wide while overcoming the support problems, full open access problems and wide swing radii problems consistent with conventional doors.

Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are directed towards improved mounting structures and methods for formation of window regulator systems for vehicles. In one exemplary embodiment, a mounting structure for a window regulator system is provided. The mounting structure includes a main body defining cavity for rotatably receiving a portion of a pulley; and an engagement feature depending away from the main body, the engagement feature engaging the portion of the pulley and preventing movement of the pulley away from the main body, the engagement feature being substantially free of fasteners for preventing movement of the portion of the pulley away from the main body.
Abstract:
A livestock trailer with sliding safety door having a trailer with a two section sliding door mounted at the rear and hung from a slidable rail assembly at the top and retained by a guide at the bottom wherein the guides are steel reinforced. The sliding safety door, being secured at top and bottom, facilitates the loading and unloading of livestock by minimizing injuries sustained from kicking the door and eliminating injuries sustained when utilizing prior art swinging door type livestock trailers. The sliding door mechanism further eliminates the need to reposition the trailer while docking to a loading ramp so as to provide clearance to operate the door.
