Abstract: Techniques discussed herein may better ensure proper timing and synchronization of transmissions within a wireless communications network that includes a terrestrial network and a non-terrestrial network (NTN). A user equipment (UE) may maintain (e.g., determine and update on an ongoing basis) a timing advance (TA) value that the UE may apply to uplink (UL) transmissions to account for propagation delays, including changes in propagation delays, between the UE, NTN, and terrestrial network. TA maintenance may be based on network broadcasts, random access channel (RACH) procedures, control messages, timing drift rates (e.g., of the UE or NTN satellite), beam switching, and more.

Abstract: The present application relates to user equipment (UE) aggregation. For instance, a UE aggregation group is defined based on a subscription of multiple UEs with a network. Configuration information identifying the UE aggregation group, its member UEs, the role of each UE (e.g., whether a group leader or, otherwise, a group member), and/or radio access capability signaling (RACS) is stored. Upon a registration of a UE, the UE aggregation group is indicated to the network. The network then enables an aggregated communication capability to the UEs of the UE aggregation group based on the configuration information.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for supporting switching between point to point and point to multipoint delivery with service continuity for broadcast and multicast services in a wireless communication system. A cellular base station and a wireless device may establish a wireless link. The cellular base station may provide information configuring an over the air delivery type with which to receive a broadcast or multicast service, which may be received by the wireless device. The cellular base station may transmit the service using the configured delivery type, and the wireless device may correspondingly receive the service. The cellular base station may provide information configuring the wireless device to switch to a different over the air delivery type, with service continuity. The cellular base station may then transmit the service using that delivery type, and the wireless device may correspondingly receive the service.

Abstract: The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods to perform measurements on reference signals based on concurrent measurement gaps. In an example, a device supports concurrent measurement gaps for intra-RAT measurements. The device can also indicate to a network whether it supports concurrent measurement gaps for inter-RAT measurements. Based on this indication, the network can configure measurement gap patterns and measurement objects for the UE to perform intra-RAT measurements and, as applicable, inter-RAT measurements.

Abstract: A wireless user equipment (UE) device may transmit a random access preamble to a base station, using a physical resource on an uplink signal. After failing to receive an initial transmission of a response message from the base station (BS), the UE device may monitor for one or more retransmissions of the response message. Each of the retransmission may include a corresponding transmission number. As an alternative, each of the retransmissions may be at least partially scrambled using a corresponding Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI). As another alternative, a window for monitoring and RNTI calculation may be extended to include the one or more retransmissions. The successive retransmissions may include the same set of UE-specific payloads, or, a decreasing set of payloads over time as UE devices acknowledge successful receipt of their respective payloads.

When the UE generates uplink control information (UCI), it determines a higher layer index (HLI) value to target the UCI to the appropriate TRP.
