    摘要: An apparatus for repeating signals includes a receive antenna for receiving input signals, processing circuitry for processing the input signals to form repeated signals, and a transmit antenna for transmitting the repeated signals. The processing circuitry includes an adaptive digital filter configured to generate cancellation signals that are added to the input signals to cancel unwanted feedback signals from the input signals. A frequency shifting circuit adds a frequency shift to the input signals, after the addition of the cancellation signals, to form repeated signals that are frequency shifted from the input signals. A digital signal processor is coupled to the adaptive digital filter for digitally adapting the filter. The digital signal processor utilizes the frequency shift of the transmission signals to adapt the adaptive digital filter.

    摘要: The location of a wireless mobile device may be estimated using, at least in part, one or more pre-existing Network Measurement Reports (“NMRs”) which include calibration data for a number of locations within a geographic region. The calibration data for these locations is gathered and analyzed so that particular grid points within the geographic region can be determined and associated with a particular set or sets of calibration data from, for example, one or more NMRs. Regions may be defined as a function of any number of parameters and respective predetermined ranges thereof in the NMRs. An intersection of these defined regions may be determined and the location of a mobile device may be estimated as a function of the intersection.

A mobile station may be geo-located at most locations, if not all locations, within communication range of one or more serving and/or neighboring base stations of a mobile network. Calibration data may be collected and stored in memory via a data collection procedure. Known calibration data for locations proximate to the mobile station may be necessary when attempting to geo-locate the mobile station. A geographical region may be calibrated via a standard calibration data collection procedure, however, various obstacles, such as, buildings, mountains, ponds etc. may inevitably create deficiencies in the calibration data for one or more areas of the region. Certain techniques may be applied to estimate the calibration data of areas that have not been properly calibrated.

    摘要: A multiband antenna is provided having a longitudinal ground plane and several linear arrays of radiating elements mounted on the ground plane. A first set of first radiating elements may be disposed lengthwise along a center of the ground plane. The first radiating elements may be dimensioned to operate in a first frequency band, such a frequency range of about 790-960 MHz. A second set of second radiating elements may also be disposed lengthwise along the center of the ground plane. The second radiating elements may be dimensioned to operate in a second frequency band, such as a frequency range of about 1710-2170 MHz. A third set of third radiating elements is disposed lengthwise on the ground plane on a first side of the first and second sets of radiating elements. The third radiating elements may be dimensioned to operate at a third frequency band, such as about 2.5-2.7 GHz and/or 3.4-3.8 GHz. The fourth set of fourth radiating elements is disposed lengthwise on the ground plane on a second side of the first and second sets of radiating elements. The fourth radiating elements are dimensioned to operate in the same frequency band as the third radiating elements.
