摘要: The various implementations described herein include methods and systems for coding video. In one aspect, a video bitstream includes a current coding block of an image frame and a syntax element for a cross-component intra prediction mode. A first chroma sample is generated by combining a first luma sample co-located with the first chroma sample and its associated neighboring luma samples using a plurality of weighing factors. The method includes extracting at least one of weighing factors from the video bitstream, and deriving the at least another weighing factor. The method further includes combining the first luma sample and the neighboring luma samples based on the at least one weighing factor that is signaled in the video bitstream and the at least another weighing factor that is not signaled in the video bitstream to generate the first chroma sample, which is applied to reconstruct the current coding block.

摘要: The various implementations described herein include methods and systems for encoding and decoding video. In one aspect, a method of video decoding includes receiving video data that includes a first block that is partitioned into a first section and a second section, from a video bitstream. The method further includes identifying a prediction mode for the first block from a syntax element of the video bitstream. In accordance with the prediction mode being a partition-based inter-intra prediction mode wherein the first section is associated with an inter prediction mode and the second section is associated with an intra prediction mode, the first section is blended using a first blending mask and the second section is blended using a second blending mask, the second blending mask being different than the first blending mask. The method also includes decoding the first block using the blended first and second sections.

摘要: An apparatus includes processing circuitry that calculates, for each of a plurality of sign prediction hypotheses, a cost of the respective sign prediction hypothesis by performing sign prediction on a subset of a plurality of transform coefficients based on a subset of samples in at least one of a topmost row or a leftmost column of a current block. A number of samples in the subset of samples is a constant number and less than a total number of samples in the at least one of the topmost row or the leftmost column of the current block. The processing circuitry selects one of the plurality of sign prediction hypotheses with a minimal cost among the costs of the plurality of sign prediction hypotheses. Further, the processing circuitry coded the current block according to the selected sign prediction hypothesis.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. In some examples, an apparatus for video decoding includes receiving circuitry and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry receives coded information of a current block in a current picture from a coded video bitstream, the coded information is indicative of applying local illumination compensation (LIC) on the current block according to a reference block in a reference picture. The processing circuitry constructs a parameter set list for the LIC, the parameter set list comprising a plurality of parameter sets for the LIC, and determines a selected parameter set from the parameter set list according to an index that is decoded from the coded video bitstream. The processing circuitry performs the LIC on the current block based on the selected parameter set to generate compensated samples of the current block according to the reference block in the reference picture.

An example method for decoding a current video block of a video bitstream is disclosed. The method includes receiving a coded video bitstream; extracting, from the coded video bitstream, a first transform coefficient of a first color component for a current video block; determining a second transform coefficient of a second color component for the current video block; deriving an offset value based on at least one of the following: a quantization step size, or the first transform coefficient; adding the offset value to the second transform coefficient to generate a modified second transform coefficient for the second color component; and decoding the current video block based on the first transform coefficient and the modified second transform coefficient of the second color component.

摘要: A method and device for subsiding motion sickness when a user is following the viewport of another user in a streaming session is provided. The method includes determining a field of view (FoV) of the user, based on a speed of a FoV of the user being followed. The FoV of the user being followed is an original FoV without any reduction. Further, the method includes generating a modified first FoV by at least one of (1) reducing the FoV of the user based on the speed of the FoV of the user being followed increasing, and (2) increasing the FoV of the user based on the speed of the FoV of the user being followed decreasing, and transmitting the modified first FoV to the user as a new viewport.
