Abstract:
The disclosure herein proposes identifying precursors to all the phenomena which can have an impact on the service use of an aircraft. It relates to a system for predicting failures in an aircraft, including a processor configured to analyze a current behavior of at least one flight parameter of the aircraft to detect any deviation of the current behavior relative to a predetermined behavior model of the parameter, the behavior model being determined from a plurality of series of learning data relating to the parameter collected during the flights of a set of aircraft.
Abstract:
In a communications network including aircraft in flight and at least one ground station, which constitute communication nodes of the network, data are transmitted from a source node to a destination node following a non-predetermined path through the network that includes at least one node which is a so-called intermediate aircraft. Before transmitting data from a transmitting node to at least one receiving node, it envisages a step of selecting the receiving node defining a portion of the path without knowledge of the next portion of the path.
Abstract:
A subscriber of a deterministic Ethernet communication network using virtual links including a first receiver, a first transmitter, a first memory to record a configuration table relating to a set of virtual links that the subscriber can receive and/or retransmit. A processing unit is configured to implement at least one application, a reception function to receive data frames received by the first receiver, to accept the reception only of the frames corresponding to virtual links belonging to the set of virtual links and to transmit these frames to a sorting function to transmit the data frames received to the application and/or to a transmission function to dispatch the data frames received to the first transmitter while complying with Bandwidth Allocation Gap (BAG) constraints associated with the corresponding virtual links.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer readable media for managing periodic aircraft maintenance planning are provided. In some aspects, a method occurs at a maintenance platform server including a processor. The method includes providing one or more maintenance related object (MO), wherein each of the one or more MO represents one or more maintenance related task that includes criteria graphically depicted at an interface. In another aspect, the method further includes manipulating the criteria of the one or more maintenance related task represented by the one or more MO at the interface.
Abstract:
A system for monitoring scheduled turnaround activities and alerting on time deviation from the scheduled turnaround activities is disclosed. The system includes a ground computing station system, an aircraft on-board system, a cloud, and user interface. The cloud is communicatively coupled to the ground station computing system and the aircraft on-board system. The cloud includes processor and memory. The memory includes an analytics module to obtain actual start and end time stamps associated with scheduled turnaround activities, from touchdown to takeoff of an aircraft, from aircraft on-board systems and a ground station system. The analytics module to determine time deviation of scheduled turnaround activities by analyzing the obtained actual start and end time stamps. The user interface to present each scheduled turnaround activity and determined time deviation of the scheduled turnaround activities.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a door for closing an opening in a structure, including: a body arranged to be capable of abutting against a first side of the opening; at least one clamping member configured to be capable of abutting against an opposite second side of the opening; and a fastener arranged to fasten or release the clamping member relative to the body. The clamping member is moveable relative to the body between a first position where the clamping member abuts against the second side of the opening so as to clamp the structure between the body and the clamping member and a second position where the clamping member allows the door to be opened. The present invention further relates to an aircraft including the above door.
Abstract:
An aircraft including a fuselage having an outer face on which is fixed a second interface, at least one emergency beacon including a base having a first interface to cooperate with the second interface for fixing of the base onto the outer face, and a casing housing a control unit, a radio transmitter for transmitting a distress radio signal and detector to detect abnormal aircraft behavior, and fixing structure to take up a fixation position to ensure fixing of the casing onto the base or a separation position, in which it does not ensure fixing of the casing onto the base, the transition from the fixation position to the separation position being ordered by the control unit when the detector detect an abnormal behavior.
Abstract:
The disclosure herein relates to ensuring the mutual understanding between a remote maintenance support engineer guiding a maintenance engineer intervening on an aircraft, and concerns a system of prevention comprising first and second communication terminals to enable the maintenance engineer and remote maintenance support engineer to exchange information with each other, the information including oral guidance instructions given by the maintenance support engineer and oral responses given by the maintenance engineer relating to the execution of the instructions, a voice recognition device configured for transforming the oral instructions and responses into textual instructions and responses, a semantic analysis device configured for comparing the textual instructions with the textual responses in order to detect any possible inconsistency between the instructions and the responses, and a warning device configured for generating a warning when an inconsistency is detected between the instructions and the responses.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bending-sustaining joint and an aircraft including the same. The bending-sustaining joint includes a body for attaching to a support structure, the body having a first end with a first bore including an internal thread portion and a non-threaded portion; a sleeve including a fitting portion which can be fit into the non-threaded portion of the first bore, a bearing portion for bearing a born member and a through hole; and a bolt member including a thread section and a bolt head which can abut an end face of the sleeve, the thread section of the bolt member being capable of passing through the through hole of the sleeve and being screwed into the internal thread portion of the first bore so as to secure the sleeve to the body.
Abstract:
A module for an aircraft has a fuselage structure and a floor element defining a floor plane. The module includes a frame device adapted for mounting a functional element and the frame device is adapted for attachment to the floor element of the aircraft at a first location in the floor plane.
