    摘要: A method and devices are disclosed, for tracking a radio beacon at a mobile device, using short range RF signals, emitted by the beacon and detected at the mobile device, typically indoor, requiring no GNSS service. According to the disclosed method, the beacon is configured to broadcast short bursts, at a carefully structured difference in time of emission (DTOE), while at the tracking device, the difference in time of arrival (DTOA) of said signals is measured, and along with the DTOE, used to accurately determine the location of and direction to the beacon relatively to the tracking device. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, said short range RF signals are associated with Bluetooth advertising, configured to broadcast in 1-way, requiring no pairing and no connection from the tracking device, and practically not requiring a receiver at the beacon, therefor saving battery energy.

    摘要: A method and system for estimation of the current location of a remote radio beacon, at a mobile device, based on two historical positions thereof provided via at least two satellite relays and one base station, particularly usable for Search and Rescue. A beacon is configured to periodically transmit short RF signals, relayed by a first satellite payload to a base station, at which the position of the beacon is resolved; then, the base station transmits a message, relayed by a second satellite payload and detectable by a mobile device, encoding two previous positions of the beacon, stamped with time tags. Finally, the mobile device decodes the information about said two previous positions of the beacon, and accordingly estimates the current position of the beacon, accounting for possible different time references.

    摘要: Systems and methods for transferring electric power to an aircraft during flight. Power transfer to the receiver aircraft is effected by means of a donor aircraft using a wired electrical connection. The method for transferring electric power includes: establishing an electrical connection between a receiver aircraft and a donor aircraft during flight; and transferring electric power from the donor aircraft to the receiver aircraft via the electrical connection. In one embodiment, electric power is transferred by way of a power cable deployed by the donor aircraft, a drogue attached to a trailing end of the power cable, and a probe mounted to the fuselage of the receiver aircraft, The probe and drogue are configured to form an electrical connection when fully engaged.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for a virtual reality security surveillance system (SSS) to generate a virtual reality map to display virtual reality presentations of a facility. The virtual reality presentations of a facility may display, in real-time, the structure of the facility along with the locations of all devices, persons, incidents, and other objects present in the facility at any given moment in time. The SSS may continuously monitor the facility and locations of devices, persons and incidents in a facility, and update the virtual reality presentations of the facility. In addition to displaying virtual reality presentations, the SSS may detect the presence of new devices and incidents in the facility. The SSS may further communicate with one or more devices to interact with one or more persons in the facility, including providing alerts and/or instructions to the one or more persons regarding any incidents that may concern them.
