    摘要： Cleaning compositions, especially laundry detergents and the like, comprising (i) modified alkylarylsulfonate surfactants, e.g., modified alkylbenzenesulfonates, which are the product of particular processes and (ii) cleaning adjuncts such as enzymes and bleaches. Processes for making the cleaning products, including processes comprising vinylidene olefin production, alkylation of arenes, sulfonation and domestic cleaning product formulation. VO production is used to introduce particular limited branching into an alpha-olefinic feedstock which, converted to dimer form, has from about 10 to about 16, preferably from about 12 to about 14 carbon atoms. Preferred processes maximize the amount of vinylidene olefin useful for detergent manufacture, and minimize deep internal olefin production. Further, an alkylation step, preferably having an internal isomer selectivity of from 0 to no more than about 40 is used, in which the VO monoalkylates arenes such as benzene, in presence of an alkylation catalyst preferably comprising an at least partially crystalline, porous zeolite-containing solid, the zeolite being at least partially acidic and having intermediate pore size. Preferred alkylation catalysts include at least partially dealuminized acidic mordenites.

    摘要： An aqueous laundry detergent composition in the form of a liquid or gel, having a pH of from about 6 to about 11 in a 1% water solution and containing a non-soap anionic surfactant; soap; nonionic surfactant; fabric softening cationic cosurfactant having a molecular weight of less than about 1000; fabric softening quaternized polymer having a molecular weight of at least 100,000; non-quaternized, non polyamine thickener; perfume microcapsules; wherein at least one of the following is true; i) the ratio by weight of nonionic surfactant to anionic surfactant is greater than 1 and the total percentage, by weight of the composition, of the total of anionic surfactant, nonionic surfactant and soap is from 10% to 30%; and/or ii) the aqueous laundry detergent composition further comprises from about 0.5% to about 5% of a hydrotrope. Methods of laundering with such compositions.

    摘要： The invention is directed to aqueous liquid laundry detergent compositions for cleaning and imparting fabric care benefits to fabrics laundered therewith. Such compositions comprise (A) at least one detersive surfactant; (B) droplets of a silicone blend comprising a nitrogen-containing amino or ammonium functionalized polysiloxane and a nitrogen-free non-functionalized polysiloxane; and (C) at least one additional non-silicone laundry adjunct selected from detersive enzymes, dye transfer inhibiting agents, optical brighteners, suds suppressors and combinations thereof. The functionalized polysiloxane component of the silicone blend has a relatively low, i.e., less than 30 mol %, content of reactive/curable groups, a nitrogen content which ranges from 0.05% to 0.30% by weight and a viscosity which ranges from 0.00002 m2/s to 0.2 m2/s. The nitrogen-free non-functionalized polysiloxane material ranges in viscosity from 0.01 m2/sec to 2.0 m2/sec. The silicone blend is preferably used in a pre-formed emulsion which can be added to the balance of the detergent composition to form the droplets of the silicone blend which are dispersed in the detergent composition.
