Abstract:
A recording medium for storing information for still pictures, and a recording/reproducing method and apparatus therefor, stores data for a plurality of still pictures and audio data added thereto in one file or a space having a logically one-dimensional order, rather than in each file, and still picture group information for separating the still picture data into a predetermined maximum number of groups in order to manage the still pictures at a group level. The still picture group information includes general information for still picture groups, and information for still pictures in each still picture group. The general information for each still picture group includes the start position of a first still picture in each still picture group, and the information for still pictures in each still picture group includes the sizes of video data and audio data for each still picture.
Abstract:
A system includes one or more application nodes sending SQL queries to one or more query execution nodes. Each query execution node translates the SQL queries into key-based requests to the storage engine, which comprises one or more storage nodes. The system provides an abstraction layer with an external schema and an internal schema, maps the external schema into the internal schema; and generates one or more microshards for the storage node.
Abstract:
A method of forming a buried gate electrode prevents voids from being formed in a silicide layer of the gate electrode. The method begins by forming a trench in a semiconductor substrate, forming a conformal gate oxide layer on the semiconductor in which the trench has been formed, forming a first gate electrode layer on the gate oxide layer, forming a silicon layer on the first gate electrode layer to fill the trench. Then, a portion of the first gate electrode layer is removed to form a recess which exposed a portion of a lateral surface of the silicon layer. A metal layer is then formed on the semiconductor substrate including on the silicon layer. Next, the semiconductor substrate is annealed while the lateral surface of the silicon layer is exposed to form a metal silicide layer on the silicon layer.
Abstract:
An information storage medium including graphic data and presentation information, and an apparatus and method of processing the graphic data are provided. The information storage medium includes the graphic data, page composition information which defines page composition of the graphic data, and the presentation information indicating when graphic screen data, which is composed with reference to the page composition information of the graphic data, is output to a display screen. Therefore, a graphic object is reusable in graphic data processing, and accordingly, a time taken to process the graphic data is reducible and memory area may be saved.
Abstract:
A recording medium includes moving picture data including first audio or first audio and second audio, and basic unit information including first state information on the first audio and second state information on the second audio. The first state information represents an original audio state in which the first audio is original audio, or a secondary audio state in which the first audio is secondary audio recorded over part or all of the original audio. The second state information represents a state in which the second audio is original audio, a state in which the second audio is secondary audio recorded over part or all of the original audio, a state in which the second audio is dummy audio which is exactly the same as the first audio, or a state in which the second audio is secondary audio recorded over part or all of the dummy audio.
Abstract:
A method of storing multi angle data. Data for a plurality of angles of a scene are stored in interleaved blocks. Sizes of the interleaved blocks are integral multiples of sizes of integral numbered aligned units that include packets. Angle change points are included in each of the interleaved blocks, allowing a reproducing apparatus to seamlessly jump from one angle to another angle during reproduction of the multi angle data. A number of the angle points recorded on the information storage medium is computed so that a jumping distance required by the data during reproduction does not exceed a maximum jumping distance of a reproducing apparatus.
Abstract:
A method of forming a metal layer on the conductive region of a semiconductor device includes concurrently supplying a mixture gas including a hydrogen gas and a metal chloride compound gas, and a purge gas into a chamber having a sealed space for a predetermined time, thereby forming a first metal layer on the semiconductor substrate, using a plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) method. The hydrogen gas and metal chloride gases are thereafter alternately supplied for a predetermined time while the purge gas is continuously supplied into the chamber, thereby forming a second metal layer on the first metal layer, using a PECVD method. Deterioration of semiconductor devices due to high heat by a conventional CVD method can be prevented using a PECVD method as a low temperature process, thereby improving a production yield.
Abstract:
Contacts having different characteristics may be created by forming a first silicide layer over a first device region of a substrate, and then forming a second silicide layer over a second device region while simultaneously further forming the first silicide layer. A first contact hole may be formed in a dielectric layer over a first device region of a substrate. A silicide layer may then be formed in the first contact hole. A second contact hole may be formed after the first contact hole and silicide layer is formed. A second silicidation may then be performed in the first and second contact holes.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a semi-permanent hair dyeing composition using a waterproof coating agent, in particular, a semi-permanent hair dyeing composition comprising a water-soluble dye, an acid dye, acrylate copolymer as a waterproof coating agent and N-methyl pyrrolidone as a solvent in a certain amount. The semi-permanent hair dyeing composition of the present invention has an advantage in that although the composition is not washed out after the application to the hair, the water-soluble dye fastened to the hair surface is not melted down by rainwater or sweat, and thereby, it can prevent skin and clothes from being contaminated with the dye.
