摘要: A developing apparatus of an electrophotographic apparatus includes a housing for accommodating a developer, first, second and third developing rollers are rotatably disposed in the housing and arranged opposite to a photoconductor drum for conveying a developer carried on respective surfaces of the developing rollers, and a conveyor roller rotatably disposed in the housing for conveying the developer carried on a surface thereof to one of the developing rollers. First and second screw conveyors are disposed in the housing for conveying the developer in an axial direction opposite to each other. Each of these conveyors has an axial length larger than an axial length of the developing rollers. A partition wall is disposed between the first and second screw conveyors. A toner container for accommodating a toner is mounted on the housing. The toner in the toner container is supplied into the housing and agitators agitate the toner in the housing. A first doctor blade regulates the developer carried on the conveyor roller, a second doctor blade regulates the developer on the first developing roller, and scrapers scrape the developer from the second and third developing rollers.

摘要: An illumination apparatus is disclosed. The illumination apparatus includes a polarization plate, a light source, and a light transmission film. The light transmission film is disposed between the polarization plate and the light source and includes a plurality of prisms formed on a surface thereof, the plurality of prisms each having a ridge line in a first direction and being continuously arranged in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. In the illumination apparatus, the light transmission film is disposed such that a ridge line direction of the plurality of prisms is one of a perpendicular direction and an approximately perpendicular direction to a transmission axis of the polarization plate.

摘要: A nitride semiconductor element includes: a strain suppression layer formed on a silicon substrate via an initial layer; and an operation layer formed on the strain suppression layer. The strain suppression layer includes a first spacer layer, a second spacer layer formed on and in contact with the first spacer layer, and a superlattice layer formed on and in contact with the second spacer layer. The first spacer layer is larger in lattice constant than the second spacer layer. The superlattice layer has first layers and second layers smaller in lattice constant than the first layers stacked alternately on top of one another. The average lattice constant of the superlattice layer is smaller than the lattice constant of the first spacer layer and larger than the lattice constant of the second spacer layer.

摘要: An optical sheet has a large number of cylindrical lens elements provided successively on one of principal faces thereof. The cylindrical lens elements have a hyperboloidal face or a paraboloidal face and have a finite focal distance on the emission side of illumination light. Where a Z axis is taken in parallel to a normal line direction to the optical sheet and an X axis is taken in a direction of the row of the cylindrical lens elements, a cross sectional shape of the cylindrical lens elements satisfies Z=X2/(R+√{square root over ( )}(R2−(1+K)X2)) (where R is the radius of curvature of a distal end vertex, and K is a conic constant).
