Abstract:
A method of automatically generating a terminology definition knowledge base (KB) includes mapping each word in a word sequence to a real value dense vector using dense vector representations. The word sequence is then processed using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model to identify whether the word sequence includes a terminology definition and to label the word sequence with a label indicating whether a terminology definition exists within the word sequence. The word sequence is then processed using a Conditional Random Field (CRF) model to identify boundaries of the terminology definition in the word sequence. The terminology definition is then extracted and added to the terminology definition KB.
Abstract:
A beverage bottle is pressurizable to permit a liquid in the bottle to be dispensed without the user having to lift or tilt the bottle. A reciprocating piston is mounted within the lid. The user exerts a downward force on the piston to force air into the bottle, pressurizing the contents. A spring returns the piston to its uppermost position. An outlet port connects to a flexible hose with a stopcock at its free end. The beverage in the bottle can be dispensed by opening the stopcock.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an automotive vehicule key in which a button (30) maintains by means of two legs (32, 33) a rotatable bearing (20) and a housing (40) fixed in mutual rotation at least in a situation where the key is in open position, the rotatable bearing (20) presenting an elongated shape so that the rotatable bearing (20) presents at least a longer dimension (a) and at least a shorter dimension (b) transversal to the said at least one longer dimension (a), wherein one leg (33) of the said at least two legs (32, 33) extends sensibly in the direction of the longer dimension (a) and the other leg (32) of the at least two legs (32,33) extends sensibly in the direction of the shorter transversal dimension (b), and the leg (33) extending in the direction of the longer dimension (a) is longer along said longer direction (a) than the leg (32) which extends in the direction of the transversal dimension (b).
Abstract:
A method for controlling operation of a resonant converter is to be implemented by a control module that generates a drive signal for controlling a power switch of the resonant converter to thereby control an output voltage and an output current provided by the resonant converter to a load. The method includes: (A) configuring the control module to determine if the load is operating in a first mode or a second mode; (B) configuring the control module to generate the drive signal according to the output voltage when the control module determines that the load is operating in the first mode; and (C) configuring the control module to generate the drive signal according to the output current when the control module determines that the load is operating in the second mode.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an artificial synovial fluid composition that mimics the tribological and biochemical properties of human, osteoarthritic synovial fluid for in vitro testing of implantable materials. The artificial synovial fluid comprises new-born calf serum or alpha-calf serum (iron-free or iron-supplemented) that contains a specific total protein concentration, specific protein constituent fractions (albumin, α-1 globulin, α-2 globulin, β-globulin, and γ-globulin), specific trace element concentrations (Ca, Mg, inorganic P, and Fe), and a specific low-molecular weight peptide concentration important for in vitro testing of implantable materials. In addition, the artificial synovial fluid contains a hyaluronic acid concentration and level of osmolality (preferably using phosphate buffered-saline solution) to mimic the thermal stability (transition mid-point temperature, enthalpy, and entropy) and pH level as measured clinically.
Abstract:
An LED lamp includes a housing comprising a receptacle, first and second bossed holes in the receptacle, each bossed hole having internal threads, and a cover plate including parallel ribs projecting outward, and holes, the cover plate being secured to the receptacle by driving threaded fasteners therethrough into the second bossed holes; two opposite shoulders each formed lengthwise along a central line of an inner surface of either side of the receptacle; a PCB supported by the shoulder and the first bossed holes, the PCB being fastened in the receptacle by driving threaded fasteners therethrough into the first bossed holes; rows of units of LEDs electrically connected to the PCB wherein each row of units of LEDs is parallel to and adjacent the rib; and a waterproofing member in the housing for protecting the PCB. The LED lamp is shallow.

Abstract:
Data synchronization includes establishing a plurality of target data tables based on a source data table in which data to be synchronized is stored, determining a current target data table from the plurality of target data tables, synchronizing the source data table and the current target data table, and directing an application server to access the current target data table upon successful completion of synchronization.
Abstract:
A wireless communications device has a processor coupled to a memory for reconstructing a map feature from discrete sets of map data that provide redundant labels for the map feature to thereby generate a reconstructed map feature having only a single instance of the label, wherein the memory stores a run-time label cache for caching the reconstructed map feature and the label associated with the reconstructed map feature for reuse in rendering a subsequent map that also includes the reconstructed map feature. As new map data is received for each subsequent map, for example when the map is panned, the reconstructed map feature is modified by trimming off portions of the map feature that have moved outside the area of interest and by stitching to the reconstructed map feature portions of the map feature that have moved into the area of interest.
