Abstract:
An active antenna, a base station, a method for refreshing the amplitude and phase, and a signal processing method are disclosed to simplify the structure of a phase shifter and guarantee the reliability of the phase shifter. The active antenna or the base station includes an antenna dipole array, a transceiver array, a digital processing unit (DPU), and a transceiving calibration unit. During signal reception, the transceiver demodulates a radio frequency (RF) signal of the antenna dipole into an IQ analog signal, and outputs the IQ analog signal to the DPU; the DPU converts the demodulated IQ analog signal into an IQ digital signal, and performs digital beam forming (DBF) on the IQ digital signal according to the transceiving calibration unit; during signal transmission, the transceiver modulates the IQ analog signal of the DPU into an RF signal, and outputs the RF signal to the antenna dipole; the DPU converts a signal of a base band unit (BBU) into an IQ digital signal in serial/parallel (S/P) mode, and performs DBF on the IQ digital signal according to the transceiving calibration unit.
Abstract:
A method of imaging thermoplastics, such as acrylic glass, is presented. An image is formed on a transfer sheet or medium, and is heat transferred to the acrylic glass substrate on which the image is to permanently appear. An opaque pass-through coating is applied to one surface of the clear or transparent acrylic glass article. Heat activatable dye forms the image, and the heat activatable dye, when heat activated in close relationship to the opaque pass-through coating, passes through the opaque pass-through coating to the thermoplastic substrate. The image reflects light through the thermoplastic material and is visible through the material and from the side opposite the opaque coating. The opaque pass-through coating layer permanently bonds to the acrylic glass surface.

A planetary gear transmission mechanism includes an input shaft, an input bevel gear connecting to the input shaft, four planetary bevel gears meshed with the input bevel gear, an output gear driven by the planetary bevel gears, a stationary bevel gear meshed with the planetary bevel gears, and four bearing modules. The output gear evenly defines four through holes along one axis. Each planetary bevel gear is received in one through hole and rotatably connected to the output gear. The rotation axis of each planetary bevel gear is substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis of the output gear. The stationary bevel gear meshes with the planetary bevel gears. The input bevel gear and the stationary bevel gear are positioned on opposite sides of the output gear respectively. The bearing modules are received in the through holes respectively, and each bearing module rotatably supports one planetary bevel gear.
Abstract:
A high viscosity aqueous inkjet ink that is useful in ink jet printers. The ink comprises heat activated colorant solids that are not heat activated during the printing process, and are printed onto a substrate in the form of an image that can be transferred onto a subsequent or final substrate by applying heat and intimate contact between the two substrates. The ink can also be heat activated onto the substrate without further transfer by applying heat at the temperature that is suitable for the activation of the colorant.

Provided is an encoding method including: a step of extending a bidiagonal line of a basic matrix of m rows and n columns in the direction of a bidiagonal line according to an encoding ratio 1/k of the spread code (wherein k=3, 4, 5, . . . , k0) set in the LDPC code inspection matrix so as to constitute an extended matrix of the bidiagonal line structure; a step of moving a first non-zero element of the parity bit portion in the (i*m+1)-th row to the (n−m+1)-th column (wherein i=1, 2, . . . , k0−2) leftward along the row; a step of calculating the parity bit of the (n−m+1)-th column by using a first inspection relationship as a start factor; and a step of simultaneously calculating parity bits of a plurality of groups by the recursive encoding method by using the inspection relationship moved leftward to the (n−m+1)-th column.

An electrical power system may comprise a main generator with a rotor having field windings and at least one embedded permanent magnet. A generator control unit (GCU) may be connected to receive excitation current produced by the main generator with flux from the at least one permanent magnet. An exciter generator may be connected to be provided with excitation from the GCU. The exciter generator may provide excitation current to the field windings of the main generator. The main generator may produce output current from flux from the field windings and the at least one permanent magnet.

A support arm used in an industrial robot includes a first joint portion, a second joint portion, and a connecting portion between the first and second joint portions. The connecting portion includes a plurality of connecting walls. The plurality of connecting walls and the first and second joint portions cooperatively define a cavity. One of the connecting walls defines an opening communicating with the cavity and forms a plurality of reinforced ribs extending from the periphery of the opening towards the cavity of the support arm.

A display panel is provided having a first substrate including an electrode configured to generate an electric field and a second substrate including a black mask. The black mask includes an aperture configured to enable light to be transmitted through the aperture, wherein the aperture is at least substantially rectangular and includes corners that are not substantially chamfered. The display panel also includes liquid crystal disposed between the first and second substrates and configured to facilitate passage of light through the display panel in response to the electric field.

The present disclosure generally provides for a variety of multi-domain pixel configurations that may be implemented in the unit pixels of an LCD display device, such as a fringe field switching LCD display panel. An LCD display device utilizing one or more of the presently disclosed techniques disclosed herein may exhibit improved display properties, such as viewing angle, color shift, and transmittance properties, relative to those exhibited by conventional multi-domain designs.

A phase shift control method for a boost converter and circuit implementation comprises a master phase and at least one slave phase. A master-phase inductor current flowing through the master phase has a master-phase charge time interval and a master-phase discharge time interval; a slave-phase inductor current flowing through the slave phase has a slave-phase charge time interval and a slave-phase discharge time interval. The method comprises: calculating an ideal switching timing whereat the slave-phase inductor current descends to a zero-current judgment value; obtaining a physical switching timing whereat the slave-phase charge time interval starts; calculating a conduction timing error between the physical switching timing and the ideal switching timing; determining the time length of the slave-phase charge time interval in the same cycle according to the conduction timing error and the master-phase charge time interval.
