The device comprises a diaphragm, wherein the rod passes through the diaphragm, wherein the diaphragm is mounted in a sealed manner in the housing radially on the outside and is mounted in a sealed manner in the rod radially on the inside, wherein the diaphragm divides the interior space into a first cavity and a second cavity and separates the first cavity from the second cavity in a fluid tight manner, and wherein the first cavity serves to hold the flowable medium. The device has at least one channel which opens into the first cavity and through which the flowable medium can flow into the first cavity, and a dispensing opening into the first cavity for dispensing the flowable medium, wherein the rod has a sealing section, and wherein the sealing section closes the dispensing opening in the first end position and is arranged at a distance from the dispensing opening in the second end position. A pressure medium acting on the diaphragm is arranged in the second cavity.
Abstract:
A device for dispensing a fluid medium comprises a head portion and a base body portion, and further comprises a cavity for receiving the fluid medium, wherein the head portion comprises a dispensing opening leading into the cavity for dispensing the fluid medium, wherein the device further comprises a rod that is displaceable in an axial direction between a first end position and a second end position and comprises a sealing portion at a first end portion of the rod that in the first end position is arranged spaced from the dispensing opening and in the second end position closes the dispensing opening on a side facing the cavity. A second end portion of the rod is guided out of the cavity for coupling the rod to an actuator, wherein the device further comprises a seal for sealing the second end portion with respect to the cavity. The seal comprises a first seal portion connected stationary to the rod and a second seal portion that abuts in a stationary manner against a wall delimiting the cavity, wherein the seal comprises an area of elasticity between the first seal portion and the second seal portion and in the second end position of the rod is stretched in the axial direction in relation to an initial state of the seal.
Abstract:
A device for applying adhesive to a substrate, having an application roller that is rotatable about an axis, an installation for dispensing adhesive to a circumferential area of the application roller, a dispensing region of the application roller for dispensing adhesive from the application roller, and having a doctor blade, wherein the dispensing region for adhesive in the rotation direction of the application roller is located behind the installation for dispensing the adhesive to the application roller and ahead of the doctor blade. In such a device it is provided that the application roller is rotatable about a vertical axis and the excess adhesive wiped by the doctor blade reaches a collection installation that is located below the doctor blade. In a method for applying adhesive to a substrate, excess adhesive that has not been applied to the substrate is disposed of.
Abstract:
An apparatus for dispensing flowable substances, having a nozzle having an exit opening for dispensing the substances from the nozzle, and a closure part movable by a control element, disposed outside of the nozzle, and configured to release the exit opening and close the exit opening, in the region of a closure part surface that faces the nozzle end. The closure part surface is delimited, in the movement direction of the closure part from the open position to the closed position, by a leading edge, in the leading direction. The closure part surface is disposed next to the nozzle and at a level upstream from the exit opening, with reference to the flow direction of the substances through the nozzle, in the open position. The closure part can be moved from the open position to the closed position by the control element, such that the leading edge of the closure part surface is moved past the free nozzle end.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for conveying a fine-particle medium, in particular a granulate, including a flexible receptacle for receiving the medium, a receiving fixture for fastening of the receptacle in the region of an upper end facing away from a base of the receptacle, and a suction apparatus, inserted from above into the receptacle, for sucking the medium out of the receptacle. The device further includes outside the receptacle, in its base region or its lateral region, an apparatus for acting on the receptacle for the purpose of its deformation. The device ensures that feed interruptions during the conveyance of the fine-particle medium are avoided so that the medium is kept in a conveyable state, whereby an undisturbed automated feed of the medium is secured.
