    Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for locating an optimal installation location for an over-the-air (OTA) antenna. In some example aspects, the system described herein may receive a list of preferred local channels and/or programs from a user. The system may then compare those channels and/or programs to at least one database that comprises channel frequencies based on a user's geolocation (e.g., GPS coordinates, address, zip code, etc.). Based on the comparison of the preferred channels and/or programs, the system may suggest a certain installation location of an OTA antenna. The system may evaluate broadcast signals received by the OTA antenna to determine the strength of the signals at the present OTA antenna location. The results of the channel feedback analysis may be displayed in real-time (or near real-time) on a mobile device, indicating to the user if the present location is an optimal installation location.

Specifically, the systems, devices and processes provide for the synchronized streaming of video content to a plurality of video player devices while also providing the ability selectively restrict timing adjustments. For example, the timing adjustments in one or more of the video player devices can be selectively prevented from occurring at certain times to comply with content-based or other such restrictions.     Abstract: Various arrangements for geographical-based streaming media management are presented. Long-term and short-term streaming media records may be received. A master streaming media record database may be maintained that combines the long-term and short-term streaming media records. A geographical identifier can be received that indicates a streaming media access location and a record characteristic. The geographical identifier, the record characteristic, and the master streaming media record database may be analyzed. In response, record indications may be output from the master streaming media record database that indicate a streaming media permission scheme required to access the streaming media source.

    Abstract: The present invention recognizes media content using signatures generated by network devices with limited processing power. An audio signal is prepared for application of a discrete Fourier transform (DFT). Outputs from the DFT include real components and imaginary components that are used to calculate output magnitudes associated with frequency bins. The frequency-amplitude pairs include the output magnitudes and the associated frequency bins. A signature of the audio signal is generated by selecting a predetermined number of frequency-amplitude pairs having dominant output magnitudes. The network devices that generate the signatures may transmit the signatures to a server for analysis. The server may trigger actions in response to detecting known content based on the received signatures matching known signatures.

    Abstract: Systems, devices and processes are provided to facilitate video streaming. The various embodiments facilitate the detection of program promotions in a video stream, where program promotions include commercial content that advertises future programs. In general, the embodiments facilitate the detection of program promotions in a video stream through the use of automated process monitors the video stream and determines that a content block is a program promotion when that content block meets a defined set of criteria. This set of criteria can include criteria such as time adjacency, timespan, audio, video and textual factors, and when the content was previously first detected. In such embodiments the ability to detect program promotions using the set of criteria facilitates the replacement of these program promotions with other, potentially more valuable, content.
